Clubs in LA / Hollywood

Im going through LA/Santa Monica in two weeks before I go to Vegas.

Staying at the Roosevelt in Hollywood for 2 nights on Friday 14th August and Saturday 15th... I have never been so wondering where I should go for nightclubs?

Also if anyone has a hookup or host I can run with that'd be great

Also interested in the answer to this (especially on a Tuesday or Wednesday)!

Last time I was there we checked out Playhouse which was just ok, and nowhere near LV levels. I used to hear Avalon, Sound and Create talked about a lot but not sure what they're like now.

And to piggyback off this, does anyone also have good dinner recommendations around West Hollywood/Hollywood (on a Tuesday and Wednesday night)? I ate at BOA Steakhouse and Katsuya last time and thought they were both great.

We went to sound on a Monday night which was really good - saw Guy J who I'm a big fan of.

Just did GA and vibe/music was similar to a decent underground London club - not sure if that's what you're after tomm0.

Allen Ladd runs the podium at Argyle. Im sure he could assist you with other contacts, and restaurant suggestions too. Hes been around for a long time.

Exchange is another popular club. It's in downtown LA though so not sure if you'd want to travel that far out from the Hollywood area.

The Roosevelt has that 25 Degrees burger place inside; SCREAMIN burgers!!! More artisanal less diner burger, but I loved it!

Create is prob the closest to a Vegas style club in LA - EDM music, SBE runs it, etc.

best crowd is prob at Hyde on Sunset Thurs-Sat - guest list only (tough to even get on that without knowing the right people) but as usual you can make a reservation for dinner and stay or bottle service.

Mondrian/Sky Bar is still fun.

there may be a pool party at the Roosevelt while you are there - those are usually not bad.

Sound is good if there is a dj you'd like to see. same with Avalon.

For Tues/Wed there are no big parties its more about smaller lounge type places.

I like Perch for dinner. There's a bar upstairs you can hang out afterwards. Pretty view of downtown LA.

Avalon and Exchange are geared much more heavily towards dancing. Both have huge dance floors and play almost exclusively EDM music. Lots of production and the sound at Avalon is amazing. I've filmed at both a few times and partied after and always loved it.

We are flying in to L.A. this Sunday (30th). Can anybody help me as to where to go? We are staying at the W Beverley Hills.
Doesn't have to be a club, just looking for a good scene/party.
We will be there for the night then hopping on a plane for Vegas for Marquee Monday's

Exchange is a nice looking club but when I went on a Sat night for Chus & Ceballos it was literally 90% guys. Maybe I just went on a bad night. I might go again just to give the place a fair chance.
