So on our upcoming trip we are planning to go to Omnia on Saturday August 22nd for Afrojack. Honestly we are not that big on Afrojack, we are going simply to check out Omnia. Chances are we will cut out around 230. So my question is, what is the typical Drai's After Hours line like around 230-300am on a Saturday. Am I best to look for a host to walk us in, or is it realistic to expect a 15 min or less wait on a Saturday night around that time? Don't really wanna do pre sales in case we are enjoying Omnia too much. Any thoughts are appreciated.

there should be small to no line around that time. Worst case scenario you can grease a host at the ropesOriginally posted by ponch62 View PostSo on our upcoming trip we are planning to go to Omnia on Saturday August 22nd for Afrojack. I've never been there sober/without table so I couldn't tell you about GA but i always see the same set up as they've had for years which is a giant mob of people trying to get in and the smart ones tip to get in and the others wait for while or eventually leave. If someone has had experience with GA please chime I've yet to see a GA lineOriginally posted by slaude View PostWhat's entry look like at the door? I usually get a table and on this next trip I may try and just try and do a walk in. Also I'm coming for a Bach party so it could just be like 4-5 dudes in my group.

This brings up another question, I haven't tipped at the door unless it was a pre-arranged handshake since pre-sales came out. Before pre-sales I had varying experiences, sometimes when i tipped I was walked up to the front of the line to pay cover, other times I was walked straight in without paying cover. Honestly I would prefer the host keep the money so my tip is gonna be higher if I know it includes cover. Is this typically something I should be discussing at the door, or is it expected now that tipping is for a walk in without cover?Originally posted by DeX View PostI've never been there sober/without table so I couldn't tell you about GA but i always see the same set up as they've had for years which is a giant mob of people trying to get in and the smart ones tip to get in and the others wait for while or eventually leave.
