Omnia - Skybox mexxanine level

Hey guys..

16 guys going to see Armin Van Buren Sunday of labor day weekend. Is skybox our best option? Any body here been in it, any thoughts / advice?

havent been iside of the skybox but it does look awesome. You are almost directly above the DJ and the box itself is huge. I would either do that or try and get 2 tables together. The mezz level does seem to attract pretty good traffic as well ( they let anyone walk up there).

Not true. I've sat at Omnia mezz level 4 or 5 times and I don't recall them ever letting anyone just go up there if they don't have a table. There is no foot traffic there.

I've also got the SkyBox a few times and here are the pros and cons:

Pros:

• It's fucking spacious. If you have that many people, and you want to atleast have that many women, you don't even have any other choice.
• It's kinda hovering over the floor below. More so than the other mez tables. So it's really cool in the sense that it feels like you're floating in the air.
• If you like exclusivity, it's very exclusive. It's like your own little private party. Kind of dislocated from the action below. I like this because I can go downstairs, party with everyone, and then pick the right people and head back upstairs and keep the fun going. But some don't like this.

Cons:

• It's on top of the DJ on the side. You don't see the DJ easily.
• Some will argue that it's too disconnected with the dance floor below. As explained above, I see this as a con, but to each their own. You can always give a criteria to your security/busboy and send him recruiting. They'll keep bringing you women and you can stand there with your thumb up or down like Caesar.
• It can be $$$. However, bargain on these tables. They don't have too many people requesting them (unless big ass groups or organizations show up).

MAKE SURE YOU GET ON YOUR HOST'S ASS TO 100% GUARANTEE YOU THE BOX. Sometimes a big organization like Facebook will book the box and pay a shit ton of money for it for their employees. This hasn't happened to me but I know it happens with those specific tables.

Nevermind just read that you're going to see AVB on LDW. Forget about bargaining. It will be $$$. But it's worth it.
