Is Light @Mandalay Bay closing for good?

I recently heard that Light is closing it's doors at the end of summer.
Can anybody verify this?
Has anybody heard this?

Wouldn't surprise me, was there for Ingrosso in March and I was surprised how dead it was for a legitimate name. Showed up late too and was seated just fine.

LIGHT is one of my favorite clubs so this makes me sad. I envision it being reopened though since under Hak management. It definitely has the potential because of the layout.

Agreed. Bummer if the rumor is true. LIGHT was very GA friendly having the Cirque performers was a nice touch. Might have to hit it up one last time before it closes.

Would explain why their events calendar doesn't go past August, and their #LDW2015 lineup hasn't been announced. I have been waiting for it. Was hoping they were going to have better alternatives to the Calvins and Aviciis of the world. Thought I could get in some Bauuer or GTA that weekend.

Sucks. But, this is what we've been talking about ever since Light and Hak opened (and even moreso once Omnia opened): is it all sustainable? The clear answer is no.

they might have deleted it themselves idk. there's lots of leaked stuff on here over the years stuff has never been deleted because of it. unless it's a personal attack on someone.

edit: saw your edit. i think maybe cause that one had a industry security guy with his face on his avatar talking about it lol. just assuming i dont have access to that stuff.
