Host Question

Say I use a host that works for an exact club like XS and they gave us a quote for a table. Would I still give him a shake when he walks us to the table? And how ofter is it that we get upgraded from a direct host? Even if I gave him a shake?

New to this bottle service thing, never got it in Vegas before so I'm not sure what to expect.

Be upfront and clear with what you want. If you're expecting a table upgrade for a handshake then say that to your host beforehand and see if that's an option. It makes the process easier this way. When you are being walked to your table your table has already been selected, they have the paperwork for it ready to give to the waitress. If you didnt tip and once you are at the table and you don't like it the next step would be to let the host who ran you to the table know and he will then radio in the podium and they will let you know what sort of tip or min upgrade you would need to get a better location

Honestly, who would have better deals though? A host that works directly for a specific host, or you or any host that works for JC?

Deals only occur during the weekdays and industry nights. With the exception of some venues like tryst, drais and 1oak who do them on weekends (excluding special events and some holiday weekends). Those are all priced the same whether you work for them or not.

Talking quotes in general most major outside companies including us can match most quotes. Obviously if your choice is to deal with someone directly make sure it is someone with some sort of seniority, lower level hosts don't have as much pull and you COULD be quoted a bit higher because they wan't to secure your spot. Ultimately you want to go with someone you feel comfortable with and you think will come through on what they promise.
