Hakkasan - dress code

I have a friend who is a regular there, and he recommended these ALDO brand shoes to me vs wearing dressier shoes.

But I go and look at their dress code and they state no sneakers. Would these still work since they aren't your normal sneaker and more "designer"-ish? Or do I have to stick with the nicer black dressy shoes. Thanks!

I personally would never wear those. But you could probably get away with them since the dress pants will cover them.

I think they'd be fine - usually sneakers means white tennis shoes - but depends if you want to take the risk.

If you have a table, definitely no problem.

We don't have a table, just a group of us with GA. Couldn't convince enough people to go in to make it affordable. I emailed HK last night and hoping to hear from them also before I go. Or else I'll just take both shoes and figure it out. I'm gonna guess that if I went with the Aldos and nice jeans it would be too casual? If I were to go with jeans, then it would have to be the non-sneakers for sure?

Honestly I don't think they'll bat an eye if you're wearing a collared shirt and dress pants. They have a hard time with organization as it is to have to add on scrutinizing dress code that much.

I don't think I have ever worn dress pants. Straight chinos for me.

I got in just fine with a polo shirt, jeans, and the shoes. There was zero wait in the pre-bought ga line too.
