5 Guys heading out from New Orleans. Looking to get TS at Omnia on Fri Sept 11th. I know its a ways out, but just wondering what are we looking at for mins. for calvin harris in a descent spot with foot traffic. Table #'s or sections would be apprecited if anyone has any input on where we be some good spots.

If you know your dates then contact a host for mins, that's what they're there for. No reason to get unreliable information off a message board. That said, expect 7.5k+ for Calvin if you want to be in the main room downstairs.

You can check my posts in the main Omnia thread for my thoughts on specific tables. 12/18 are the best IMO, but sight lines from all tables are pretty good.

not sure if you guys are stuck on seeing Calvin but you could make the money go a lot further elsewhere. I would say keep an open mind and wait until XS announces the lineup.

Just my opinion when i saw Calvin i was dissapointed. Was expecting way more from him. He does attract LOTS of women however.

jmiller hit it. mins are gonna be really high. If it's calvin you want to see then go for it. If it's omnia then pick another day to go there for BS unless you're willing to pay the high mins.

Yep, I've seen him probably 5-6 times already this year and he is just not a good set DJ. Thankfully I only was responsible for the tab two of those times. He attracts the big crowds only because of how mainstream his music is.

Of course, following this logic most of the DJs who spin in Vegas are totally overrated.

You're paying a huge markup for the Calvin/Omnia combo. If you really want to see Calvin, try and see if he's playing at wet republic during your stay (unsure since it's September, but maybe?) and if it's to experience Omnia see what's happening on other nights. Like it's been mentioned he draws an enormous crowd based on popularity and his sets aren't the best lately (my opinion, of course), but his pull makes prices launch.

              Best of luck!
              Jake

Ya, no doubt about the markup specifically for Omnia and Calvin. Really puts it in perspective when Omnia will ask ~$13-15k for a dance floor table and ~$10k even for a Tier 2, but you can typically get a whole bungalow at Wet for $10k.

Not to hijack the thread but dont rule out some of the lesser known guys. I have had some of the best nights in vegas with guys like RL Grime, Nervo, Slander, ETC. Dont get hooked just by the big name. However i will say Omnia is an amazing club and i do recommend getting there once on your trip.

Thanks, Last year we did kaskade at marquee and tiesto at hakk, so wanted to see harris or guetta. Seing one during the day may be a better option. What are mins like a xs for a quetta or avici. For us 5 in like a tier 2 or 3?

Inside at XS your probably looking at 3-4k +500 shake (someone please correct me if im wrong). But everywhere inside XS is a good time in my opinion.

Oh no doubt about it, I was just making commentary that so many of the big name DJs aren't necessarily good set DJs. Personally I will take the set DJs over the big name DJs any day, Vice or even just Eric D-lux is a good time. And I always try to support Lema whenever he headlines. The problem is that the bottle prices are the same so I spend as much regardless.

That night was a big breakthrough for him. He said it was crazy.
