Its tough to be the group planner..........

I want to make sure my group has a good time. I have a few females in the group for 3 of the nights. We all enjoy hip hop, but we want to mix in some EDM too in order to vary things up. Average age is mid 30's. So.... not including pre-game spots and our daytime activity, here are the night choices as of right now.

We are most likely doing bottles at 2 daytime spots and 1 nightclub.
Best bang for buck, which night (Fri or Sat) and which club would offer the best experience with a max $1500 for the 6 guys (females in the group aren't paying)

Thurs: (4 males only) General Admission
Tao - DJ Five (hip hop / top 40)
vs
Drai's - Ross One (open format??)
vs
Hakkasan - W & W (EDM)


Friday: (6 males, 4 females)
Light - GTA (EDM) Possible bottle service for the males. The females will get escorted walk in

Drai's - Swizz Beats (possible bottle service)


Saturday: (6 males, 4 females)
1Oak - E-Rock (hip hop / top 40)
vs
Drai's - Weeknd (hip hop / top 40) possible bottle service
vs
XS - Zedd (EDM)

Sunday: (6 males, 4 females) - Getting a daytime cabana today, so just G.A. at night.
Bank - Scooter & Lavelle??? (EDM??)
vs
Drai's - Pusha T (hip hop / top 40)
vs
XS - Major Lazer Night Swim (EDM) Possible bottle service

Monday: (6 males) May be doing cabana at Bare, so just G.A.

Here is my suggestion. Couple of points.
I believe that Tao Thursday is still industry night and still a good party. Drais Thursday isn't so bad either but I would save that later for the girls.

Light vs Drais is tough, but for mixing it up and hitting both venues do Light Friday - you will get good value here as well. Saturday switch and do Drais - for a Saturday you should also get good value.

Sunday do not miss XS Night Swim especially with Major Lazer. Their show is a fusion of EDM and Hip-Hop. Use Bobby Y. and you will get a great deal for night swim as well.

Monday don't go back to XS - head to Marquee Monday and catch the first act of "EDC Week" with Borgeous (EDM) who should mix it up and while I don't always hit up Marquee Monday - when I do, I never have a bad time.

Sunday Nightswim just be aware that you're likely to run into holiday pricing for Major Lazer. That means $795 bottles, $895 bottle deals and you won't be able to get the deals at the best spots. It's one of the few times you might want to hope they open the inside so your spot outside improves.

Sorry to chime in, but all of your suggestions made since 2 years ago! You guys are ignoring the new spot! Omnia! Cappaccinodagreat - you can't miss the new Vegas spot Omnia (at Caesars) and it has Hip/Hop on the terrace.
So you get the best of both worlds, with Hakk (since it has Hip/Hop downstairs), you already got 1OAK, and you got Drais if The Weekend is performing. Keep in my that 1OAK limits what days you can go for hip/hop and Omnia is Friday or Saturday. This gets you exposure to most tier 1 spots w/o having to sacrifice hip/hop for EDM only.

Lowest min on Fri and Sat at Omnia is usually 2k. Most host will tell you 2500-3k

I had a buddy go to Omnia a few weeks ago. He said his group booked a table more than a week in advance. Took way too long to get in and the staff seemed very unorganized. We were thinking of going there the weekend after EDC to see Armin, but after his experience, we're prob gonna go to HK for Tiesto.

Omnia does seem to be a little unorganized atm. with that said, if you use one of the recommended hosts , I've head very good stories about getting take care of proper.
