I don't see a reason for him to have to fight Pac again. Line up Canelo and Khan then call it a career.

mayweather says-I'm either going to fight Karim Mayfield or Andre Berto in September.

This will not be his last fight. Contract is up with Showtime after the September fight and he only ties Marciano's record.

Floyd is all about Floyd and the $$$$$$$

He'll try to break the record by using his own promotion company Mayweather Promotions and go with the highest bidder.

You know what's interesting, I remember watching one of the hype interviews/documentaries of his for the maypac fight and when asked about it he said he had no interest in beating the record, was going to retire at 49-0 and shift his entire focus to mayweather promotions. Very unlike his personality so that was why I remember it, I couldn't believe what I was hearing haha.

He needs to fight Kell Brook not that fraud Amir Khan. Fighting people he's already beat is just pointless. I leave vegas on the 8th sept, if he was to fight Kell Brook on the 12th i'd seriously consider staying for a few more days.

Manny had his shot and there's no need for Mayweather to go down that road again.

The only concern I have regarding Kell Brook is only 2 fights in the US. Somewhat like the Ricky Hatton story even though Ricky fought the 3 fights prior to Floyd in the US. Both undefeated and fought almost exclusively overseas. Can he be sold to the public as the best boxer to face Mayweather if this is his last fight, which I don't believe is? Boxing is about PPV buys and $$$$.

I'm very skeptical that this is money's last fight. Mayweather has to say that this is his last fight because if he doesn't, not as many people will buy this fight and just wait till the "last" fight. So his upcoming fight is his "last" fight and then if he wins he can say he changed his mind and wants to go for the record, which in that case will be another huge payday, whether its a rematch with pac or de la hoya or whoever.

It's a win win for mayweather to say it's his last.

What does the fight do to table prices and female talent ratios that weekend?

After the last fight, everyone should just ignore his next fights..

.. but that won't happen. So I really wish he would fight GGG so that he could get the ass whooping that he deserves.

                        Yup.
He will retire for a year than come back for one last pay day as the big 50-0 fight!!!!!!

lots of stories online that this sept 12th fight might be shown on broadcast tv- CBS
so maybe no closed circuit/every casino on strip showing??

If it's on broadcast, it won't be his last fight. No way Showtime gives up that cash.
