All depends on what you are looking for out of a club. I think most people on these forums are looking for the place with the best crowd (aka hottest women/best ratio), strong production value, and a DJ whose music they know. If those aren't your thing, then 1OAK/Tao are way better places than anything you would find in your own hometown. That said, I think most people would easily find 5-7 places that are better options when you consider the average Vegas visitor.

You're absolutely correct for a n00b but for a jaded vet, the only one of those three that matter are women. When you have a gf, different story haha. This is a topic for another day but this all goes back to the DJ bubble and the emphasis on bottle service over people interacting and getting down on the dance floor.

1Oak=Hip Hop in Vegas in terms of name clubs. I know that overall the boards lean heavily towards EDM and name DJ's (all good with that), but if your specifically looking for hip hop (which; YES some people LIKE hip hop) it's a perfectly good night out. I wouldn't recommend it if your not getting a good deal bottle service wise or if your with a group that want the "VEGAS" club experience (cause there ARE plenty of clubs that offer better aesthetics set up wise, crowd wise and size wise). But if your in town for a long trip and want to spend a night listening to good hip hop 1Oak is fine. Sometimes you need a ratchet night in Vegas to mix it up...
