Actually I would not say always, depends on your party makeup. While I don't have experience at Omnia, several clubs will let your girls in free and just charge the guys if you work through a host, just make sure you use a reputable one.

Considering for 3 guys for Tues June 2, how long can I expect to wait if I do pre sales and get there early-ish at like 10/11?

They are available up until they sell out. Usually that is day of in the afternoon. You're going on a tues though so it shouldn't be that busy.

That's what I thought too when I went this week. Didn't think lines on a Tuesday would be comparable to a Fri/Sat night. I semi failed by not hitting up Thomas G earlier for a walk in. He was off and didn't get back to me till midnight with who to ask for to walk me and my gf in. Getting to the front of the table lines was a battle. It seemed a bit unorganized and even when we got to the front we weren't acknowledged or given the time of day. Had a few groups next to us that had tables and they were being ignored as well. After 45 minutes we were about to leave for Drais when we got waved in. Totally worth the wait once we got in. But I doubt I'd go back this year unless if I had a table and was set up proper in advance. Or just go with presales, but even that line seemed a bit unbearable. Prolly gonna wait till the hype dies down a bit b4 going back.

can you give a rough idea of what you mean by "unbearable"? Is that like 50 people or like 150 and not moving?

Omnia seems to not have their shit together at the moment regarding entry.

Granted, we went sat on mdw, but was told they over sold the presales (3400+). It wasn't terrible but the line prob took 45 min to get in with presale. GA wasn't getting in at all. When I talked to the bouncer he said they completely changed the presale setup for that night so maybe it's better other nights. I built some quick rapport with him and slipped him 20 and he let 4 of my buddies skip the line.

Quick comment - there is only one "table line" at Omnia - it's the one on the left when facing the host table. The mass of humanity in front of the host table is Omnia's buzz crowd, where they stuff all the people trying to get in for free (hence why they ignore everyone).

My understanding is that Omnia usually caps presales well under 3400, so if what you were told is true, I'm going to guess that ticketdriver screwed something up for that night and that Omnia/ticketdriver made the decision to try to handle it rather than refund presales after the fact. That would also explain why you were told that the presale setup was different for that night only.

Also just FYI, GAs not getting in at all is not uncommon especially during the busy long weekends. Many venues flirt with the fire marshal cap even before letting in a single GA. That's why so many people on this forum recommend buying presale even when there's a chance you might get walked in for free.
