  • Tao or Chateau???

Hey all gonna be in town may 16 and 17 and my group of 6 (4 girls and 2 guys) are all set at Drais for Sunday but are still back and forth about Saturday night... A few ppl in our group want to go do cheaper bottle service at Chateau and the other few want to see Wiz at Tao... Question is what kind of deals can we get if we do Tao bottle service and is it the better choice? Anyone have host info for Tao? Our ppl like hip hop/top 40, thanks in advance for the help!!!

You should definitely consider Tryst for a Saturday. It's a better club than those two and the DJs will suit your group just fine. They offer a Grey Goose special on Saturdays. I think it's $450 for two bottles. What's your budget?

We were actually going to go with tryst first but never got an answer back from the host so we moved on to other options...Unfortunately half of our group doesn't mind dropping $200-300 per person on bottle service and the other half has a tight budget and can't ball out like the others so we had to compromise around $150-$200 per person for them

Fortunately sunday just the spenders are going out to Drais so we set up a really good deal with Ivan Bastida

          +1 for Ivan. He's great.

Have you gotten quotes yet for Tao vs Chateau? Wondering what the "savings" are at Chateau and then if that amount is worth it.....

No quotes for Tao yet since we just realized we may want to see wiz but Chateau host offered us a 2 Belvedere deal for $475+34.8% tax/grat+$200 host tip... is that decent or not worth it? We noticed the DJ that night is some canadian guy not sure if he will be good or not...

Hit up Bobby Yeadon for Tryst. He mainly works XS on Saturdays, but he works at both venues so he can get you set up at Tryst, no problem. If you catch him at the right time, he may even be able to walk you in. Worth a shot.

Agreed. Bobby can get you essentially the same deal at Chateau (or better) and between the two I'd rather be at Tryst than Chateau

Get ahold of Bobby, go with Tryst. I've never delt with him personally (yet) but the feedback here is off the charts. I've had nothing but great times at Tryst though!

                    1. always compare nightclub lineups- who the dj is- if you want cheap drinks pregame
                    2. 4 girls are going to get free entry to any club in vegas on guestlist- so if the guys want a table they really shouldn't hold the girls hostage to throw in because they can get in free anyway.
                    3. add some pool parties

Get another host for Tryst then. Really, you'll have a much better night there than at Chateau and you'll pay about the same.

Probably a bit less, too. I think that 2 Goose deal is $450, then it should be only 28.1% on top of that. Still do a $200 host tip and see where that gets you.

I always hear Chateau getting dumped on, but I have never been there. What makes it a spot so low on the list? Music, prices, design, DJs, location, crowd???

To put it in perspective, Chateau has run groupons in the past... 'nuff said?

Now, to be fair, Chateau does have some aspects going for it - great view of the Strip and Bellagio fountains from the rooftop, lower prices than most clubs, hip-hop format for those wanting to get away from EDM, and it can get a decent crowd. The problem is that it's not a typical Vegas club (more of a lounge feel, even when it's packed), being outside can be a negative for some as well, and as already mentioned in this thread, it doesn't even represent a particularly good value. So it's just not a place I would generally recommend to Vegas visitors, especially if they are looking for the Vegas club experience.
