  • Limo tour up and down the strip?

    Hello all

group of 14 guys landing on a Monday mid afternoon and staying at MGM.

Half of us have been before, half haven't.

Think we will prob go presale Marquee on that night (as going to XS later in week), and i hear Cosmo has some of the best bars going, plus party vibe casino, so will head there first before going into club.

I appreciate this is a bit cheesy and cliche but we were thinking it would be cool to get a limo (or two if needed) just to drive us up the strip first to take it in, maybe turn round at stratosphere and then get dropped off at Cosmo.

Would we be able just to take a few bottles of bubbly into a normal limo picked up from taxi que outside MGM? (unsure what rules are on drinking in taxis), or would we need to book a special company that offers this kind of thing??

    Thanks in advance

    Presidential Limousine.

They have a stretch hummer that seats 14 for $125 an hour. For $125 you could do the entire strip, see Fremont and get dropped off at Cosmo. With that you get two bottles of the bubbly included. Also you can add or change the package...just give them a call. Won't regret it.

Side note: it's a 2 hour minimum but still give them a call and see what they can do.

      Cheers AV

How long do people reckon it would take to drive up the strip from MGM to stratosphere and back down to cosmo in a bit of general traffic?

Traffic varies widely in Vegas from completely stop-and-go to a relatively quick pace. Without traffic it's 36 minutes according to Google, so usually it would take less than an hour, but it could take slightly longer under some circumstances.

For my friends and I 30th birthday we did the limo down the strip thing. Made a stop at the Vegas sign for some pics as it was a big group of us. Brought our own drinks in the limo as well and it wasn't a problem!

Damn. Beat me to the Punch. I was just about to say you might as well stop at the Vegas sign and take pics before the club.

ho train (ha good name), did you just jump in a limo you had flagged down or was that booked?

If we could just grab a limo from the normal taxi point, bring our own bottles and jump in that would be great

I booked the limo prior to the trip so that it would be there at a certain time. Everything was timed so we would have the hour trip to the sign and ride down the strip to Encore. But there are always limos waiting at the valet. But I think it's not an hourly ride, but just a get to your destination type ride for x$.
