  • Patio Tables at XS

    Hey guys,

Going down to Vegas for a bachelor/bachelorette party next week. We are considering bottle service at XS on Saturday the 25th for David Guetta.

There are 11 of us, 6 girls and 5 guys. Mostly couples, so real estate for bringing girls/guys in is not important. Budget wise, the inside tables for 11 people won't work for us. I was wondering if you guys had any opinions on patio tables at XS. We are mainly looking for a nice spot with good atmosphere and view of the DJ. Most of us are bottle service rookies, so I want to ensure everyone has a good time.

Are there any certain table numbers you'd recommend over others on the patio? Any advice on patio tables there or any general advice would be very helpful and appreciated!

    Thanks!

best patio tables are 900s and 800s but they wont hold 11. 900s being the bigger ones i'd say 6 comfortable maybe cram a couple more in.

Yeah, the patio tables are definitely on the TINY side...you'll fit about 4-5 people IMO but if you're looking for your own spot to party and dance in without being cramped up like cattle, it does it's purpose.

it is pretty much right behind the DJ and there's a lot of foot traffic. also on nights where it's jam packed, you'll be able to enter/exit the main room easily as well
      Next trip: ???

Thanks for the replies so far guys.

I got a couple quotes for patio tables with 2 bottle min and 3 bottle min. He said one would be for 8-10 people, and the 3bottle min would sit up to 12. So I'm a bit confused if all the patio tables are small.

Maybe I'd be better off getting a bigger table at Tryst? Hard to judge since I can't find any pictures or table views from the patio tables at XS.

Thanks for the feedback so far. I am open to more!

Sounds like your host might be setting you up with a couple of adjacent tables for the big group? In any event, if your budget allows it, I would choose a patio table at XS over any table at Tryst.

The budget definitely allows it. The 3 bottle min table on the patio would be our max all in we are trying to spend. So with the patio tables, is it still wide open with the inside or is it closed off via doors? Why patio table at XS over Tryst? Is it just a better overall atmosphere where we will have a better time?

XS is just superior to Tryst in every measure of a nightclub: better looking space, better looking people, better DJs, better energy. The DJ booth is open air and connects the inside to the outside area. The atmosphere outside is a little more chilled out, especially as you get farther away from the DJ, but it's the same music and if you are close to the DJ, you have easy access to inside.

Another option is to get a table at Tryst and then a walk-in to XS from a host later in the night when the headliner is on. I did that on my last trip in January, and it worked out pretty well, but we only chose that over a table at XS because we did not have enough in the piggy to get a table at XS.

It sounds like my options on the patio at XS would either be a 8 person table near the DJ (2 bottle min) or a couch on the water that fits 12 (3 bottle min). Anybody have any thoughts on those locations? I can't find any pictures so if anyone can help with that to give me a visual that would help a ton.

The other option would be Tryst table in main room, 1k min. Sounds like there are bottle deals or at least cheaper than XS. Then walk to XS around the time David Guetta goes on.

The 8 person table for sure over the pool bed.

Are you after cheap booze or a table in a better club? tryst option is good value for money but what is your goal?

If you have a lot of single people in your group - then they might not be happy cutting any ties they've made in tryst to move over to XS. Also, if you get a walk in ~1am then for the rest of the night you won't have a table to sit down. That's fine if you're happy to be in the thick of it on the XS dance floor from 1-3am with the occasional breath of air outside. Are the girls in your group going to be happy though paying money for BS but then not being able to sit down after 1am ?

If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

XS seems to be what we are leaning towards. It's just hard to comit to a patio table not knowing what to expect since there are no table views.

You make good points Ocam, I appreciate the feedback. If anyone has pictures of XS patio let me know. Thanks again guys!

There's an interactive map. Go here, open the drop down menu and go to #11 (no name, just the number 11). The tables not against the outer wall of the club are the 900s.
