Was looking into using freevegasclubpasses.com since guestlist options are pretty good for a couple and it will be just my wife and I. For this Saturday we can get on the guestlist for Tao or Tryst. We have not been to either, so any suggestions are welcome, but I am definitely leaning toward Tryst. Thoughts?

sometimes you will see light/marquee open up a list -
For each venue it says a suggested time to show up for Chris Hornak's guestlist, but if you show up later do the lines get really long if the guestlist is still open?Comment

Usually Marquee doesn't do a Saturday even ratio list, but Light often does. It looks like Light isn't doing one that specific Saturday due to Alesso DJing.
I've had great times at both Tao and Tryst, so it would depend on the DJ and how many free drinks you girlfriend would get from each. Since neither of the DJs are really well known I'd probably go with Tao since it has an hour long open bar compared to Tryst's single free drink. Just remember that free drinks from guest lists sometimes don't end up happening, so if you get there and there isn't an open bar that's just the way it is sometime, you are better off than all the people who paid to get in.Comment

Thanks for the info. The free drinks are definitely just a bonus, so no biggie if I have to pay for a few more drinks. Mainly looking to get into somewhere quickly and have some fun dancing for a few hours. We are more into top 40/hip hop than edm, so thought that it would be good to get into any of these type of places free on a Sat. I would like to check out XS(DJ Snake) Sunday or Monday(Diplo) as well since they both have guestlists available. Not sure how much partying my wife will want to do though, after last trip of going all day, I think she will be more into relaxing than partying. We'll see. I also would like to do a pool party, but my wife is hesitant. I went to WET(Tiesto) in August and had a blast, and tried to convince her she would have a good time, but she has never been to one and doesnt feel like she is missing out.Originally posted by maxutilsperusd View PostComment

The lines do get significantly longer the later you show up. I usually recommend showing up as early as possible since the lines are often quite short and fast toward the beginning of the night.
I always make sure to go Sunday and Monday since you can have such a great time for free on those days. If you like top 40/hip hop you might want to go with Tryst since that's usually what they are doing these days, might want to check out the DJ and see if that's what he specifically does. I'd probably do a pool party with a guest list and then if it isn't her scene, at least you didn't pay anything in cover charges and can leave guilt-free.Comment

Have reservations at Cut on Sat, so thinking of trying Tao since it is right there, and hopefully more free drinks for her(and me
)After looking up the DJs I could find NOTHING about Saint Clair at Tryst that night. Dont know much about Politik either but it looks like he plays other big clubs like Marquee as well.
Not sure how many of these we would make it too, but ended up getting on the list for something everyday to have options. I am now on the list for Tao beach Sat and Drais Beach Club on Sunday, Drais Sunday night, XS Monday, 1OAK Tues.
Sitting at work now just dying to get out to Vegas! Flight leaves in 5 hours!Comment
