  • deep house! Where? Artisan?

Anywhere in Vegas where they play deep house?

I don't really care about the big names, I just want the kind of music I like.

I've been thinking about Artisan after hours maybe? But there's nothing on their calendar for April 10th or 11th, and thats when I'm in Vegas.

    Any other suggestions?

I've heard it at the Artisan. At about 5am-ish!

DCR maybe, but it is more of a lounge

Drai's after hours was playing some deep house and tech when I was there. Not sure if that's every weekend though.

For good house/deep house sets check the Marquee schedule for DJ Lema. Always a good show.

DCR, though a lounge, has been solid on the deep house for me the last 3 trips.

Not bad: Guy Gerber, Nic Fanciulli.... this is looking promising.

EastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

Second this Lema rec - probably the most underrated DJ in Vegas. His set was a little more progressive-ish at MDC on 4/3 though.

Yeah, I wouldn't call Lema a deep house DJ at all. He's good, just his sound doesn't fit deep house.

Yeah, I'd say you're right...I was just going by his last set I saw at Marquee Mondays. Different then at Lavo and other times.
