So I'm 21, but apparently I look much younger. People usually assume between 12-17 lol. Is there any sort of backup I should have for my ID (a passport or something)? Do clubs/bars/casinos have wristbands to make it clear I'm not a minor?

I'm sure I'll be fine with my ID, but still...I know Vegas might be more aggressive about this kind of thing, as it should be.

Maybe take a colour photocopy of your passport (and leave the original in your safe).

also you could ask the casino security desk a few times when i first turned 21 they gave me wristbands so people would stop asking me for ID every 5 minutes while i was gambling

Make sure to bring your ID/Passport or Driving license. If you are looking really young as you mention, a copy would never be enough. I am not familiar with the suggestion from Jose above, but it sounds great actually for younger looking adults.

To be honest, a credit card with your name on it and an ID should be way more then enough verification if you don't wanna carry your passport everywhere.

Bottom line, if security or a door man doesn't wanna let you in...they simply won't.

not being from america, tourists need their passport as ID. how likely would i be to be carded? its downright laughable that im supposed to bring my passport(the thing i need to get on my flight home) just to enter a nightclub. its a nightclub..not the white house. im worried of waking up and its not in my back pocket.

Driving license will be fine bro. Just keep your passport in the safe in your room. It's not worth the risk. Or bring your national ID card instead with you if you dont have a driving license. Just leave your passport in the room.

i hope so. i remember reading than non US nationals need a passport as valid ID. but im sure they will undrstand the situation.

I've only ever needed my Australian drivers licence. They have a lot of international people going through the city every day, so they know what other identification cards look like.

I carry a colour photocopy of my passport as well, and leave the original in the safe.
