Thursday: EBC at Night, bottle service isn't necessarily needed, but shouldn't be too expensive with more Thursday options this year.
Friday: XS, Marquee, Omnia depending on the DJ
Saturday: EBC, Wet, or MDC depending on the DJ and then XS, Marquee, Omnia depending on the DJ

I think you shouldn't miss EBC at Night. Since you can't go to Nightswim on Sunday, it's the closest alternative, and a different experience than EBC during the day or a traditional nightclub. If money is a concern and the bottle service prices aren't reasonable enough, pre-sale tickets are fine since the best time can be had in the pool anyway.

So looks like you've got the right idea, but I wouldn't just do bars when EBC at Night is an option.

go to something on Thursday- ebc@night, Hakkasan, drais, Tao etc
check lineups when they come out and compare

I would be more concerned about the "mansion" part-
      1. distance/cab lines- las vegas cabs have expensive rates- even going between casinos can be excessive because of traffic + sounds like you have a bigger group. 1 cab is probably going to cost $250+ with no traffic figuring 10 trips at $25 each over the trip. 3 trips Thursday, 2 friday, 4 saturday, 1 sunday= $250 x 2 or 3 depending on group size that's $500 or $750 in cab fare
      2. If its a residential area you could still get noise complaints- might even be more likely.
      best

It just that the mansion is only going to cost $2000 for 3 days, for as 1 room would cost around $1000 for 3 nights, just for 1 room. Going to need at least 3 rooms. We got a couple of free rides with Uber, so we're probably going to use Uber for some of the rides.

Harrah's (for example) on the dates you are going is $365 per room for the entire stay including resort fees. You could literally get 6 rooms (2 guys per room) on the strip for $200 more than your mansion 6 miles off the strip. Seriously, being on the strip is way better than staying off strip.

I would have to agree with this. The mansion sounds like a good idea on theory, but the travel time will get to you. It's way too convenient to be able to leave your room and be on the strip.

            no uber in vegas
            !
            Just something to think about-
If your going to hit all those nightclubs/pool parties your not going to spend a lot of time in the mansion.
I would get 3x double bed rooms next to each other- on kayak.com cheapest is $125 x3 $375 all in with no resort fee and your on the strip with six beds. Gives you another $2000 for the nightclubs.

I know "mansion" sounds really cool but I would definitely think about the transportation piece- maybe talk to a limo guy and see what they think those trips are going to run.

The room/living quarters in Vegas is just a glorified storage for your stuff. Staying on the strip is way better, for the whole experience. Trust me. I highly suggest looking at ChrisBru's math above. You can do a mansion in some other town

If your boys plan to try to pick up girls in the clubs then I would guess that asking girls to go to your house 6 miles from the strip would be a deal killer.

                Here is your schedule:

11:30-12:00 three taxis to pool party
                12:00-5:00 pool party
                5:00-5:30 three taxis to house
                5:30-10:00 time at the house
                10:00-10:30 three taxis to club
                10:30-4:00 club
                4:00-4:30 three taxis to house
                4:30-11:30 time at the house

So you will be at your house from 4:30am-11:30am and 5:30pm-10:00pm. You will spend a lot of that time sleeping (including a nap between the pool and the club) and getting ready for the pool party/club (shower, dress). Best case you are looking at 3 hours together in the house per day. And that is assuming you don't want to pre-game at bars on the strip, eat dinner or eat late night on the strip or gamble. I expect your boys (unless they are Vegas veterans) will want to experience the strip. As one poster said, most people use their hotel room simply as storage space. In Vegas most people want to be outside of their room. I think realistically you will spend 2 hours per day in the house awake, dressed and functional. In exchange for those 2 hours you will spend $1,000+ on taxi fares.

I originally didn't comment on the mansion since you seemed pretty set on that, but now that others have chimed in I'd like to reiterate how far 6 miles in Vegas is. People generally think of the Palms or Hard Rock as very far away from the strip and they are a whole 1.5 miles from the center. In your town 6 miles is probably considered close, and in the US that's often the case, but the strip is only 3 miles long, and people consider the SLS to be so far away at a whole 1.0 miles further down Las Vegas Boulevard than Encore.

For $2100 you could get 3 rooms at The Mirage or Vdara, for $1750 you could get NYNY or Paris, or for $1450 you could stay at the Luxor and put that money toward night or daylife. Tons of options are available for a room budget that large, plenty of which will save you time and money spent on transportation.

                    Thanks for the input guys.

Most of us already has been to Vegas and stayed on the strip, except the birthday boy. So you guys are probably right, we just wanted to experience something else but we might go with the hotel instead now.

I was looking at Vdara but if we did stay at a hotel, I'd want to stay on the strip. How hard would it be to get connecting rooms with each other? I rather not stay at Paris/NYNY/Circus

Everytime I've been to Vegas I've stayed at MGM, Cosmo, and Veneitian. Kind of picky with my hotels lol

Connecting rooms is pretty easy to do, at least for two of the rooms. For cheap hotels on the strip that don't suck, look at Flamingo, Harrah's, Linq, Monte Carlo, and Treasure Island.
