  • Best non-nightclub bars with dancing?

Going in a couple weeks with a bunch of 30-40 yo bros. Obviously night clubs aren't that excited to see us unless we fork over a lot of our cash. Probably will hit up Tryst one-night as they seem to be offering the best deals for bottle service in our price range.

The other nights we are looking for bars on or near the strip that turn into dance parties without the club lines and $ (or places that a bachelorette party might visit). Does this even exist?

Depends on what you consider a lot of cash, but that's not really how night clubs work. How many guys? Are you capable of dressing decently?

7 guys and yes we can dress decently.

30-40 is not old for Vegas clubs.

Don't burn a night in the greatest city in the US trying to find a bar that acts like a club.

What is your budget per person per night?

Using the lowest common denominator, we have about 200-250/person to spend one night for bottle service and then 2 more nights which have to be a lot cheaper 50-100/person outside of what we have in our suite. One of those nights will probably just have to be gambling/walking strip.

I was thinking about one of those crawls, but most seem to have mixed reviews.

              Don't do a club crawl.

What nights will you be there?

I'd suggest doing the bottle service the first night. Your guys budgets may suddenly increase when they realize how nice it is.

Aside from that, do presales for the clubs. You can usually get those for under $50.

                Four key questions:

--Does your group want to chat up women in Vegas?
                --How many guys?
--What dates will you be there?
--What suite are you staying in?

Your guys will spend WAY more than $50-$100 gambling and walking the strip.

30-40 is NOT old. At all.

I know, this is just for club fees, gambling is a separate account. In addition, more than a few of us are fine buying extra rounds for everyone once we are inside a place, but just don't want to pay for someones entry or portion of the bottle service bill if that makes sense.

                  1. Yes
                  2. 7
                  3. nights of 4/17,4/18,4/19
                  4. Delano right now. Small but affordable and recently updated.

IMHO your guys should shift the gambling funds to your club funds budget. That's what my group does. Gambling is fun, but chatting up women is way more fun.

Buy pre-sales to clubs and then split into groups of 2-3 in line. Clubs don't care if you are 30-40 as long as you dress well.

I like chris' idea of starting big on Friday and seeing what your group thinks. One night at a club usually fixes budget woes.

I suggest you do Guetta at XS on Friday night. It will be packed (starting around midnight). Huge club, easy to move around, Guetta brings in lots of people. You probably have to do pre-sales (rather than a table) because of cost. The guys in your group who are 40+ (I assume when you said 30-40 you shaved a few years off the high end) need to look younger. That's easy (ish). Diet hard for 3 weeks and drop 5+ pounds. If they have facial hair with gray, shave. If they have gray hair on their heads, dye it. Buy stylish jeans, do not roll in with Levis. Buy stylish shirts, do not roll in with a work shirt on. Don't look the part of a middle aged dude in the clubs. Look like everyone else.

Edit to add: I took a 45 year old with me two trips ago. He rolled in 20 lbs overweight. He had a gray beard. He is balding and had gray hair on his head. He wore old school jeans and had on a shirt that was presumably cool for an LA hispter (it was the top of a work uniform). His first night was a disaster and he was miserable. The next morning he shaved his beard, shaved his head, bought new clothes (including a swim suit), bought sunglasses, and the rest of the trip he had a great time.

There's nothing wrong with clean, distress-free, dark wash Levis. You don't need designer jeans to look good or "younger" as you say. Just make sure they fit well - fitted, not baggy, not painted-on.

There's another guy on here looking for someone to split a table with at 1OAK. It's blackout Friday's. We are going after our bachelorette dinner at Stack. But David guetta is a good option too. We are going for EBC though.
