Is Hakkasan a huge sausage party?

Excuse the bluntness of my thread title but is there any truth to this? Several friends who've been and a few threads here state the ratio is lopsided. A good friend who's been to pretty much all the best spots in vegas told me it was about 70 to 80% dudes and not worth the time if ladies were your priority.

Some clubs I've attended in the past including XS, 1Oak and The Bank have had more balanced ratios IMO

Please share your opinions on the matter before I invest in bottles.

Is the ratio consistent Thursday to Sunday?

To be honest... i havent been able to notice the ratio being super skewed until like 4am. Where its more dudes.

I've been there a few Sundays. There were a lot more guys than girls in GA. The main problem is that all the good looking women get pulled into tables. That waters down your GA pool.

im still trying to get my head around bottle service... do girls actually seek guys that are "suckers" out there the majority of the time then leave when it dries up.?

What you're referring to is the "bottle rat". Yes they exist. But they are easy to weed out, as they only want to drink and not socialise. This is why you tip security to 'move them along'.

As many have attested to time and time again in many threads is that bottle service is about realestate. It gives you a spot in the club that comes with booze, and a little prestige over GA. This then gives the opportunity to recruit females who want a place to sit/mingle and more room to dance without being molested in GA.

I dont think guys are "suckers" for getting bottle service.

The key is to separate the $$$ away from the alcohol you are getting.

Its the $$$ you pay for your spot in the club.

yes, last time i went to hakkasan was on a saturday and it was probably 75% dudes in there. no thanks

I don't think that there are not enough girls but in my experience at hakk most of the girls stroll around the tables trying to get lucky.
dance floor is packed as hell and I would say 80+% are dudes desperately looking for girls

I think this has also something to do with the layout of the club - it just isn't "comfortable" for GA and girls don't like to be jammed on the dance floor. if you are outside of the dance floor there is little room to stand and you get pushed around by the security. in my opinion clubs like light are much more comfortable for GA as the dance floor is bigger and you also have room on the sides to stand

If the question is... "Is hakk a sausage fest in GA".. I would say yes! The dance floor is full of dudes the tables are filled with women. Hakk is not super GA friendly as mentioned.

Same goes with refills. You are able to tell pretty quickly if you are or are not clicking with a group. If you are not, don't be afraid to have security ask them politely to leave. I was a bit aprehensive about this at first but after the first time doing this I was surprised by the response from the females. Most didn't care at all after being asked to leave as long as you didn't make it a point to embarrass them. In fact they basically expected it and we're totally fine with it. Also good security staff can pick out the known bottle rats fairly easily and can also spot fun groups of girls. Security staff with good instinct for this is priceless IMO.

Fair answer. Sounds like bottles at Hakk can be ok. I'll have to make some big decisions before deciding where to get BS next visit. I wanna try Tryst.

$50 off the top of the night seems to work fine most places. I wouldn't promise more or you may end up with more quantity than quality. And don't be afraid to tell them what you are looking for as in age, etc. Nothing wrong with tipping them more later if they did a good job.

I totally agree that it depends on the venue and the security person as to how it will go. Most we found will scope them out and get your approval before even letting them in. Some places, though, they don't do any of that for you from your tip, but I would say that is the minority of the time.
