June 17th - June 22nd. Planning advice/tips needed.

Hi all, any help with this would be hugely appreciated!
Heading to Vegas with one of my friends for 5 nights 17th-22nd June, staying at cosmo. I know its June but I am planning ahead slightly because I want to make it as good as possible so don't want to leave it last minute. Looking to fit in a few good nightclubs (would like to try chateu, drais and marquee if possible) and at least one pool party
Anyways here's a template of what I have in mind:

Wednesday 17/6 - first night, don't actually have any idea where would be good on a Wednesday so any suggestions would be appreciated?

Thursday 18/6 - now this could be a big night out for us seeing as it looks like we might just have a chill out day on the Friday so just hit me with the best option for a Thursday! I was thinking fitting in drais if its good on a Thursday? Any other suggestions though thow em at me.

Friday 19/6 - Marquee nightclub (?)

Saturday 20/6 (day) - Now heres the big decision of the trip, my original plan was to probably do wet republic on Friday BUT ive noticied Avicii is on at Encore Beach. Would love to go to this, but be honest will it be absolutely packed and worth the extra money?

Saturday Night - Calvin Harris is on at Hakkasan, massively tempted by this but again is it really worth it for the sake of seeing Calvin Harris? Im not keen to try Hakkasan as ive heard mixed/negative reviews of it. As much as I would like to check out the Calvin Harris set could have just a good time elsewhere?

Sunday 21/6 - Last night so looking for a big one. Heard good things about bank at Bellagio on a sunday or possibly sunday night swim at the XS.

That's just a few ideas I have, feel free to pick it apart a bit and offer some suggestions. Mainly should I go for wet rep or encore beach? And how should we play Saturday night? Ultimately im just after a good vegas experience without it being too jam packed so I can actually enjoy it and not spend TOO long queuing, id like to see some big name headliners (Avicii, Calvin Harris) but if I have to sacrifice one so be it if there's others options.

Any advice welcome. Just a heads up there is only 2 of us so bottle/table service is unlikely although not impossible,if that helps with any suggestions. (Theres an outside chance 2 other people may join us last minute, but lets just assume its only 2 of us)
Advice on tickets/guest lists if any one has any.

Ok buddy, I don't know if you know already, but the weekend you are going is EDC weekend - one of the biggest weekends in vegas in the year, which means that mostly everything will be packed and crazy. That being said, you should get pre sales early since the prices will rise the more we get closer to the event.

Concerning the days I would wait for the lineups to finalize, but Wednesdays Light should be a good option. You should also check out Omnia, the newest club in town. Has really good reviews so far. About EBC vs. WET. The overall opinion on Avicii is not too good here in the forum, so you could also consider doing EBC on Sunday with Kaskade which should be really good. Then you could also think about doing pool parties two times, since they are really fun!

So either way, you will have fun that weekend, but expect high prices for table service...

Yeh 2 pool partys doesn't sound a bad idea, its just deciding which day to do which one?? I read that thread you linked and somebody said sunday at EBC is the busiest day and they waited in line for ages?? Also how come avicii at EBC hasn't got good reviews on here?

Don't get me wrong, it is a perfect weekend to go with crazy events takin place. You should just be prepared for that

Avicii doesn't really do a good show - mostly "just playin from his USB stick". But of course he will draw a big crowd. So you won't go wrong with that as well, just pointing out, that there are also good other options like you originally posted, WET on Friday with Garrix should also be good and then you can still decide between Saturday and Sunday for EBC.

My plan would be like this:
Wednesday Night: Light
Thursday Night: Omnia, Nicky Romero
Friday Day: WET, Martin Garrix
Saturday: Open, depending on line up
Sunday Day: EBC, Kaskade
Sunday Night: XS Nightswim

EDC the festival attracts around 133,000 each night- for Friday/Saturday/Sunday night
your schedule could be 9 events!
Wed- nightclub
Thursday- Pool party and Nightclub
Friday- Pool party and Nightclub
Saturday- Pool party and Nightclub
Sunday- Pool party and Nightclub
sound like your leaving but also Monday Pool party and Nightclub

If you have never been pool parties open around 11am with headline djs on around 3pm going till 6pm for nightclubs open around 11pm with headline djs on around 1am going till say 5am. Realize pool parties have low single digit thousand capacity and the big nightclubs have high single digit thousand capacity. So for Saturday/Sunday that weekend pool parties will be in great demand- nightclubs will be just regular slightly less because of such a large crowd off the strip.

Again look at lineups and if your just a group of two buy presale tickets as soon as you can.

If you want to see Calvin Harris you should go! Realize your paying just $30 to see one of the biggest djs right now on a Saturday night!!

dude i would definitely look into seeing diplo at ebc on friday for a pool party. His pool parties are always a blast!

Thanks for your help and advice guys definitely given me something to think about, artedm has pretty much made my decision for me about Saturday night I mean where else can you see Calvin Harris for 30dollars?? Can't turn that down really. Overall I think I'm gonna go with a plan loosely based on what rooney10 suggested, light seems to be the place on a Wednesday so will check that out, possibly go with nicky romero at omnia on thurs,will probably do WET on Friday and potentially do ebc on Saturday or Sunday.
I will head over to the other forum soon and see if anyone is up for doing a table share if they happen to be there on the same time as us.
Finally pre sale tickets, where do I get them???
