Use 3rd Party Host Or Go Direct?

We are due in Vegas in 2 weeks and have set up the clubs we want to go to on the Thursday and Friday with dinner at Hakassan on Saturday with view to then going into the club after.

There is one in our group adamant on using his 3rd party host link whereas we have just gone direct with the hotel groups vip host

Can anyone highlight what difference is, i thought 3rd party is more of a risk?

Direct is the only way to go.

You can negotiate better deals with the direct from my past experiences.

Others will probably go into more details when they reply. Just look at the threads on this board. Do you really see anyone bragging about a 3rd party? That IMHO says it all.

I would be stunned if you found a better deal going third party, but anything is possible. I concur that if the difference is negligible i would STILL go with the direct host. As Kp3205 says you start to build a relationship with the host for future trips AND avoid the potential fuckery by going with a person who has had positive reviews from people from all over the country (forum members). IMHO.

There isn't a chance that an Indie Host can do more than a direct host working for any clubs, in terms of deals. There are some good Indies that will know a lot of the direct hosts well and refer business, there are some Indie hosts that will have more connects and sometimes more pull than a new/direct Jr. Host. But an established guy at his venue will be there at the property and able to help you more typically.

+100, I can only think of two independent hosts I would use.

^, the independent host to use. If your friends have a specific person in mind, we might know them, but if it's 'random promo guy from Instagram' tell your friends to just freaking trust you.

We all agree as mention bar 1 guy!!! He seems to have a good contact he claims through 702ENT. I am not doubting that but the price difference was ridiculous, he then manages to pull it down closer to what I have sourced direct which sent alarm bells ringing then!

He claimed it was more about ensuring we actually got in (8 guys) when i spoke to direct host he said to ensure we get in we just need to make sure we turn up early like 10pm, which is fair enough, just reminds me of London clubs so understandable

I think we will stick as we are and go direct
