  • Jackcolton.com CONCIERGE vs Traditional Hosts............

I have not logged on since sometime last summer, and I see some things have changed. Jackcolton.com now has full service concierge services. So I am wondering, are they trying to phase out the great hosts that have been so helpful on this website?
I have met some cool hosts here and hope that isnt the case. Ofcourse, maybe I just dont get it, or maybe its been discussed, but like I said, i have been gone for a good while. Can someone update me???

Oh....... cant wait for Vegas this summer (as always).
    Peace.

I personally always have gone through Noah on this site for everything. I think all the concierge on here does is put you in touch with people at each venue and some of the people they connect you with are probably the great hosts that were once posted on this site.

Basically my understanding is you're working with Noah and Dex, so 2 legit hosts we are already familiar with.
As long as they don't inhibit the ability to talk about and recommend hosts on the forums, I don't see any problems with it!

I think it is covered in one of the Sticky's about "Host Contacts." I think the takeaway is that there were some less than stellar hosts mentioned on this board and it was causing problems. The hosts in question weren't honoring their deals and such. In turn it brought down the reps of the great hosts. In order to save people the trouble of sorting out the good from the bad, JC decided to employ some of the frequent posting, great hosts to serve as the central point of contact to ensure everyone's rep is protected.

If you have a host already in your phone, feel free to contact direct. If someone recommends a host and you reach out, I am sure thats cool too. However, if you have no idea where to start - go the Concierge route and you will get what you are looking for.

If you already have great hosts you use from this forum/recommendations, you should continue to use them as you see fit of course. The majority of the hosts mentioned in the Hosts Appreciation threads are still great contacts and reliable. We left that thread up to keep those contacts still in good standing.

All we removed was the full listing which was half populated by hosts that weren't receiving mention/appreciation and some of which had actually gotten some bad reviews/feedback internally with us.

For the older members, it didn't effect you guys, but for the newer members it just wasn't great for the sites name and reputation to keep that possibility and likelihood open. Became easier and made more sense to have a handful of us employed by the site and to keep things in the best interest of all members new and old.

Either way though, the Host Appreciation thread is staying alive and will keep providing the same great reviews and recommendations.
Within the hosts, still active and in the Industry on our side, nothing has changed. Noah and I still actually help each other, and I still refer/plan/setup with the same host I have in the past with a few changes as some have left. I think it helps streamline some of the connections also if you are new and have no one or don't know who is worth a ... at whatever club you want to go to. Another thing, there's some of us that are industry wide and some that just deal with their own club. I try to assist even if it's not my main venue and I think that's how Noah has always been also. There was a huge turnover and movement this off season some good guys left the industry, so it's good to have a Noah and some of the other host help you with finding some new connections and maintaining accurate info without going on wild internet goose chases.
