  • May 9 - 11 questions - TRYST/Drai's/1OAK, XS Nightswim, Bare/XS/Marquee

    Hey JC members,

4 guys heading to Vegas for a bachelor party looking to go out on May 9, 10 and 11.
We are looking to do bottle service for cheap on either one or two nights.

    Saturday, May 9 options:
TRYST - I think we can get 2 Goose for $450
Drai's/1OAK - any idea what 2 bottles will run in either of these spots?
I've been to 1OAK but not yet to TRYST or Drai's. What is the best option for Saturday night (no headliners announced)?

    Sunday, May 10 options:
XS Nightswim - Definitely want to hit this up. Skrillex is spinning. I did EBC at Night last year with Lil Jon and it was a blast.
Should we consider doing bottles for this night? I think there might be a 2 for $600 deal. Can anyone confirm this? Not too concerned on table location but don't want to be stuck in a broom closet.

    Monday, May 11 options:
Bare - we might hit Bare for a laid back afternoon. Any idea what the mins would be for an area suitable for 4 guys?
Marquee/XS No headliners announced yet. I'm assuming there are no BS deals at Marquee, especially on Monday. Does the 2 for $600 deal apply at XS on Monday?

None of us has been to XS yet. If we do Nightswim on the Sunday and XS on the Monday is that overkill for one club or is it good variety since we would be outside one night and inside the other?

This is the plan that I'm currently leaning towards:

    Saturday - TRYST 2 for $450 (unless we can get a 2 for $600 at Drai's)
    Sunday - XS Nightswim GA
Monday - Bare daybed/cabana (whatever we can get on the low), Marquee or XS GA

    Thoughts??

Saturday: Probably can do a b1g1 at 1OAK with a $200 (maybe less with the right host) tip to host, so around $850 or so total. Not sure about Drai's
Sunday: 2 Goose for $595 deal, yup - but mandatory $200 host tip I think, and the deal is off the table for bigger name DJs. There are no bad tables at NightSwim IMO, unless your table is inside... But that only happens on HUGE DJ nights. That being said, Nightswim is one of the few night events that I would go to without a table - it's better with one, but you'll end up in the pool most of the time anyway as long as its decently warm out. Another decent priced option on Sunday is Bank (open format)
Monday: Bare is not really laid back on Mondays. It's industry day and a fucking blast. Daybed for 4 guys should be $500 minimum. We ended up staying until 7pm and spending $1200, so we should have gotten a cabana
Marquee has industry on Mondays I think, and I'm pretty sure there is a $350 bottle menu. 2 goose for $575 should be available at XS on Monday unless its a holiday weekend (which its not) or there's an unusually big name DJ for a Monday (which I doubt).

Nightswim Sunday and XS Monday isn't overkill... NightSwim and inside at XS is pretty much going to two different clubs. Inside is usually only walked through with none of the bars staffed or tables opened on Nightswim, unless its a huge name DJ like Guetta.

I'm slightly biased because XS is my favorite club, hands down, but Nightswim -> Bare -> XS sounds like heaven - its actually exactly what we did that same weekend a year ago and it was great

Awesome reply! Really appreciate the time you put into that. Do you have a contact for Bare?
Also, would there be any extra charges on top of the $500 or is it just whatever we tip at the end of the day?
      Thanks again!

No mandatory tip to host but I default to $100 tip. You have to factor in tax and gratuity because the minimum is before tax and gratuity - I can't remember if they auto-grat or not at Bare, but I use 28% as the number when I'm estimating costs. So if you hit $500 on the nose, you're looking at ~$640 plus $100 for the host.

I used David Severino. (201) 819-0558. He's a good dude, got us a daybed right on the edge of the pool which was great for scenery. Kaz might have other suggestions, I know he can typically be found at Bare on Mondays.

From another post on this forum:
"I will state an often repeated line on this forum - go where the girls are, not where the bottle deals are. If your boys just want to hang with each other and get drunk, then a club is a waste of money. Stay in your hotel room and drink liquor store bought booze. But if your boys want girls and atmosphere then go to the club that has girls and atmosphere. Every Vegas club is not the same."

          That said think about
          Saturday pool party, Saturday nightclub
          Sunday pool party, Sunday nightswim
          Monday nightclub

XS,Omnia,Hakkasan are going to be different then Tryst on Saturday
For nightswim you can get a bottle special but as has been said you can just hang in the pool
For bottle special I would go with Monday- only two clubs open on monday so its different then a saturday when everything is open.

Also most strip clubs do $100 bottles and free limo/free entry b4 8pm or 9pm

If it's Skrillex at Nightswim, make sure you confirm with your host what deals are available the day of. Management has a tendency to change the deals the night of as demand increases, and Skrillex will sell out.
