How to - two dudes

Hi there,

I'm traveling with a buddy and we wanted to check out a club. Probably the XS on Monday and or Light on wednesday. We'r just two dudes and I think bottle service is definitely too much. So what would you recommend. Just buy pre-sale tickets and then hit the bar?

Any special recommendations during the week. We'll be there from Sunday to Thursday. Staying at the PH.

PH is great for 2 buddies, just use the 20 dollar trick and ask for a strip view on higher floors (I had room 2089). XS is a cool club, just buy General Admission tickets and hit the bar. It's expensive but worth it. Make sure you hit the club on a decent time (before 12ish) and have a good time!

You could also try and get a bottle special on Thursday or Sunday which will stretch your dollar pretty far.

I'd look in the get connected section and try to connect with a group going the same time to pitch in for bs. if not, I'd just do presale at wherever you want to go. you'll be free to roam around wherever you like and meet whoever you want. maverick and goose style

We've done XS Goose/Moet for $500 all in, or two goose for $750 all in on a Monday night. XS is also always fine to go general admission unless its a BIG name dj, and Mondays should almost always be fine unless it's a holiday weekend or something similar.

Light didn't have bottle specials on Wednesdays because it's kind of the only place to go - I think two goose and two champagne was $1200 all in for tier 2 table. Light is decent general admission, but the dance floor is packed. I've been twice on Wednesdays, and personally wouldn't go again without a table. I'd rather do Surrender industry night on Wednesdays - probably a decent chance for a b1g1 bottle special, and definitely fine to go general admission.

Oh, and shit, DO go to 1OAK on Tuesday if you can. We did two bottles for $780 all in on a Tuesday for a dance floor table and both times I've gone have been amazing times.

And the last two times I've been to Vegas I've had no problem finding at least two people from the get connected section to join us and keep costs down.

When you say "all in" - what do you mean. You mean, that tip is already in?
How it's done with the tip at bottle service?

when you get your bill you'll see a 8.1% state sales tax, a 20% auto gratuity for your waitress and depending on the venue a 10% Live entertainment tax (hakkasan is always 40.1% total) on top of your total. So when you hear the term 'all in' it means gratuity and taxes included.

Should also add that it doesn't include host tip, which is always at your discretion. But a $100-$200 tip on a bottle deal goes a really long way.

Yup. That's why our $525 2-vodka deal went from $680 to $780 - $100 tip to the host. Good reminder!
