Ya, doing the GA thing definitely depends on your other half's willingness to play along!
A couple other thoughts on couples hitting the clubs together, pretty sure this thread started out by talking about a group of couples going out together. While going as couples does not require having a table, I highly recommend getting a table at least one night if you have a group of couples going to Vegas. It's still a lotta fun to hang out in your own space and be with people you know and like. Without a table you end up spread out all over the club with people slowly disappearing throughout the night. Not to mention if the club is packed, making your way to and from the bar back to the group is a real pain.
I have also found the best way to get those that dont see the value of a table to start to understand is to take them to a packed club without having a table on your first night. Its how I first got into getting bottle service, I saw how much better time people with a table were having than I was. I immediately told my friend who had been trying to convince me we needed to drop $$$ on a table to start working on something for the next night.
