Just seems like too much of a hassle for everyone that's why it's not really heard of.

    Also lax isn't open anymore

Let's just pretend it's closed. If you guys don't really care about the crowd and he's worried about the price that 500 will take you a lot further at places like 1oak,tryst and bank and even life.

If your boys just want to hang with each other and get drunk, then a club is a waste of money. Stay in your hotel room and drink liquor store bought booze. But if your boys want girls and atmosphere then go to the club that has girls and atmosphere. Every Vegas club is not the same.

            2. How many guys are in your group? Four? If there are four of you then you will crush two bottles early and will buy at least a third. That's a fact. You will be at the club for 4-5 hours and you will be pouring drinks for women you meet in the club. I always recommend you determine your realistic bottle purchases and then buy those upfront. Better to get a table location based on 3 bottles than to get a table location based on 2 bottles and buy 3 bottles.

            3. I think you are making a mistake going to a club based on music. Go to the clubs with the girls and atmosphere. This isn't karaoke night. Nobody wants to see your boys standing on the booth singing along to Biggie.
Out of curiosity, how can you tell which clubs have the girls and atmosphere? It seems like on the weekend every club is pretty good?

Who comes to a club and how the club feels are products of a very complex system.

              Low-end club:
Usually a more relaxed dress code (more people wearing t-shirts and sneakers)
Heavily promoted by people handing out cards for free or reduced entry
Inexpensive DJ with no self-produced songs
Built more than 5 years ago with little updates since
Low cover charge that many people avoid with guest-listing
Older sound system with speakers that are past their prime
Located at a low to mid-priced hotel
Smaller, often with limited space to dance

              High-end club:
              Very strict dress code
Heavily promoted through advertisements at the respective hotels featuring the DJs
Expensive DJ who has produced multiple hit songs
Built less than 5 years ago or with significant updates since having been built
High cover charge that only girls have a chance of avoiding during Friday and Saturday
Modern sound system with cutting edge stage effects
              Located at a high-priced hotel
Larger, often with an outside area

Yes, any club in Vegas on a Saturday night will have girls and a decent amount of energy, but the quality, quantity, and ratio of girls and guys is definitely determined by the quality of the club.

EastCoast: "I will preach. Vegas is easy. So easy. Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

A little late to this thread, but I have quite a bit of experience with the couples trip, including two couples trips in the last 4 months. Obviously your group won't care much about the number/quality of girls at any given club (short of having some nice scenery), but you should care about why there are larger numbers and better looking girls at certain clubs. There are always more guys looking to hit the clubs than girls, the places that are the most fun with the most energy soak up a large chunk of the women because they are the most fun places to party.

If in fact you do settle on LAX, I would set it up for your first night, before the rest of your group knows what they are missing. Good example, last trip we went to Hakkasan on Friday, XS on Saturday, and decided to try Life on Sunday. We were at Life for 20 minutes before my wife looked at me and asked if we could go somewhere else (not bashing Life, it's a nice space, but the crowd and atmosphere was not close to what we had experienced at other places). We texted our host at XS and headed back that way.

As far as hitting you minimum by just buying drinks, mix a round of shots in when you place drink orders and you will hit your minimum before you know it.

I agree that you definitely shouldn't end a trip on a low note. I remember ending a trip by going to Moon on a Tuesday when it was far past it's prime. Boy was the a mistake after spending the last 2 nights at XS, lol. At least Moon had a view, I can't imagine going to LAX after going anywhere better.

Really for couples I recommend guest listing and just skipping the table. I know that's an unpopular opinion on this forum but couples don't have to impress anyone and could probably better spend the money on a nicer dinner or hotel room.

                        Guest list opportunities:
                        Friday: Marquee and Light
                        Saturday: Light
                        Sunday: XS and Hakkasan
                        Monday: XS and Marquee

With that set of clubs available with free entry and sometimes even free drink tickets, a table just isn't appealing.

If you've got a single guy in a group that can be a problem, but either he buys a pre-sale ticket or he can chance find a girl to stand in line with him (not very hard to find if he's an extrovert) and if that doesn't work out he can always do GA.

When i go with my girlfriend...even in a group, we rarely do tables. It's an even ratio so we don't have problems getting into places at all and she gets open bar for a good couple hours. We end up saving money and still have a good time.
                            Next trip: ???

I've done the couples thing before. Hell, just me and my girl did bottles at XS on a Monday night for Tommy Trash. You can still make friends and share your bottles.

There's not really a good scenario for everyone who drinks different things - if you all want individual drinks, go to the lounges or go general admission. Learn to drink vodka, and get a bottle or two and you can order a couple rounds of individual drinks from your waitress or from the bar.

Good places for couples without breaking the bank or having to settle for LAX:
                              1OAK
                              Tryst
                              Haze
                              Bank
                              Light (upper pavilion)
                              XS (back wall or outside)
                              Tao
                              Next Trip: October 28-31, 2016

That really depends on the partner too, my recently ex-wife wouldn't even step foot into a club if we didn't have a table. And yes her maintenance cost is part of why it now is ex .
