Hi, i'm planning a trip to Vegas for 4 dudes and I think i've got it most of it worked out by now any other sort of help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. we are going in March from Thurs 19 to Wed 25.

we're all 30 years old dudes from Australian and i realise it'll be spring break so we may not be the youngest ones at any given moment, but shit happens eh?

Thurs 19th March: Fly into Vegas at 5PM. Staying at Cosmo. Then quick dinner, unpack etc and will go to Drais where Dyro is playing. Planning on getting pre-sale tickets. Also thought about Tiesto @ Hak, but leaning more towards Drais atm because i heard good things.

Friday 20th: Brekky, gamble, walk-around, do whatever. dinner and bar/lounge, not expecting a big one this night. No plans for any nightclubs. Resting up... will we miss out here??

Saturday 21st: Encore Beach Club for Laidback Luke (will probably buy presale tickets) and then the big one; Kaskade at XS. Reserved a back-wall table with Bobby Yeadon 3K min for T250,260, or T170-160. I know it's a lot for 4 dudes, but we do alright and it's a special occasion so hopefully we can find some nice people to share it with.

Sunday 22nd: Probably be hungover. Push IV or Hangover Heaven, which ever is closer. Will try to hit up Marquee or another Tier 1 nightclub. Presale or GA only.

Monday 23rd: Depending on how we go on sunday, it'll be the touristy stuff for blokes who want to do it.

Tuesday 24th: Was thinking Chuckie at Omnia, presale. Go hard before we fly out and i gotta see chuckie!

Wednesday 25th: Fly out to Miami early.

That's a solid itinerary. I think you're doing a great thing by staying in friday night, saturday you'll have a long day and you'll need all your energy. Also, the IV services like push and hangover heaven can come to your room and do it there. Very convenient.

I wouldn't waste a Friday night in Vegas ! For Sunday it would probably be worthwhile checking out Hakkasan, since you aren't going there on Thursday

I day off is fine (I would not do it) but do not take Friday night off! Friday night is a big night.

the issue is, if we go hard friday night, we will probably miss out on Encore Beach club.. i could just see us not getting up in time. Would it be better to go out friday night, maybe Hak, Marquee and not have a "massive" night?

From all accounts from people coming in from different continents it seems Jet Lagg is a bitch. Doesn't look like you accounted for the time difference. I'd probably take it easy on Thursday and either do a pool party Friday afternoon or Marquee/Drais GA at night. Going in GA can sometimes save you from such a wild night you can't wake up in the morning because you don't have a set amount of alcohol to polish off. Sunday Marquee is not open so you're looking at Hakk or XS.

An alternative agenda can look like this:

Thursday: Free
Friday: MDC (if open) or Drai's Nightclub
Saturday: EBC and XS
Sunday: Hotel Pool and Hakk
Monday: Day Free and Marquee at Night (2 free entries per room for hotel guests)
Tuesday: Omnia

thanks mate, thats not a bad alternative. I guess we will have to see how we go when we land on Thursday night before we make any concrete plans. The "main" part of the trip will be the Saturday night at XS, so having the friday night in a dayclub might be a better option

The spring break parties haven't been announced yet, hak's buyout of Light group has a lot of things held up it appears. There are usually a lot of pool parties that week. Your plan is solid however without being balls to wall ridiculous.

in regards to spring break parties... do they absolutely take over las vegas at that time? we don't really care too much and get along with anyone, but prefer to meet people closer to our age!

I would do

Thursday: Tiesto
Friday: pool party, Guetta XS or if want free- room entry marquee
Saturday: pool party, XS
Sunday: pool party, xs or hak
Monday: marquee or xs
Tuesday: Afrojack omnia

fyi for nightclubs headline djs start around 1am
for pool parties 3pm

Also you will get bottle specials on sunday and monday. For example if your 600 bottle friday/saturday probably 2 for 600 sunday/monday

Most spring breakers go to beaches and all the colleges vary their breaks. I doubt there will be an issue.

Can i recommend doing the IV at the start of the trip along with the B12 shot. I did this... as the flight from AUS is long... it will set you up good for the rest of the trip. the B12 sits in your system for 7 days... so its the best way to go.

I would do Hakk thursday night too.

Right firstly I think you are under-estimating yourself. Im 34 and go vegas twice a year from the UK and I most certainly do not stay in on any night. You're MAD if you stay in Friday night.

Sure the first drink in a club is sometimes tough, and by Monday you're tired, but its Vegas mate. Staying in your room on a Friday night after only one night in Vegas is not only daft, it just wont happen. You realise the energy in town on a Friday night? Its when 75% of people jet in for the weekend to go mad, and youre planning to stay in because you have a table at XS 24 hours later!?!?!?!

Come on!

So sack that idea off straight away. Book tables for your nights and go big Friday and Saturday. If it means it, stay at home in the day, not the night.

Do bottle specials thursday, sunday and monday. Spend more Friday and Saturday and go pre-sale to pool parties Saturday and Sunday. Chill in the other days.

Also the IV stuff - when I first went I was all over this but i've never used it. The key is preparation. Drink LOTS of water, have lots of Pedialyte. Take vitamins, but my biggest advice is eat and eat alot. The pain i get in vegas is yes through drinking, but on hangovers youve got to get nutrition. Just eat lots of carbs, get some fuel in your system, drink loads of water and youre laughing.

I guess the tone to my post is this. You're worrying too much.

The IV definitely works. I went to Push. it takes about 1/2 an hour. I did it at 11am. Most people do it just after they finish at the club. But because it was my first night... i was still a little lagged... so i was up at 10am.. perfect time to go... i was the only one in the clinic... after my nap I was $1 million bucks... so... worth it. No more hangovers.

As Tommo Said... your senses will go into overload... adrenaline will kick in... you will get all fidgety if you stay in... You are in vegas for a good time not a long time... Take regular naps... pack the hydralyte... LOTS OF IT here from Australia... like the tablets... pack also some berocca... and you will be all set.

Worst move is not to do anything on the Fri night...

I pretty much bank on you doing something when you are there... een if you say you wont.
