when should i book clubs for june?

visiting for the first time in june and the whole getting intos clubs in vegas concept is bizarre to someone not from america. we go for 1 week on june 22nd. ive a vague idea of pre-sales/bottle service etc. ill list the facts below..

we dont want bottle service or a table, we dont want to visit a club where a supertar dj is playing, just a normal cheap night with a nobody dj..we have seen all the top djs back in europe and dont wish to be squashed in a sweaty club.

what is the best way for 2 young 20s guys to get in? pre-sales? paying a host to walk us in? how much will both ways cost us on an average night(no guetta, avici, calvin harris etc) just a resident dj.

upon searching vegas clubs, i cant seem to see any mention of more normal clubs, you know..no/little entry fees. i just see the mega clubs like XS, hakkasan etc. it would be great to know of some of the higher tiers...tier 4,5? :P for a night away from 30 dollar drinks and packed mega clubs etc.

in short..
i know all the top clubs, just not sure of best way to get in for resident dj nights
i cant find any non top clubs for a night or two of normality

Your best bet will be to go to bars and lounges. One that comes to mind specifically is Gold lounge in Aria that has an open bar package that costs $30 for guys from thursday - saturday and it includes Open bar from 10pm to Midnight. Other than that you should look into bars like rockhouse, blondies and twin peaks. I can't think of one nightclub that wont charge you $12-14 per drink.

A basic mixed drink (vodka soda, for example) will be $12-$15 dollars.

Beer is in cans, aluminum bottles or poured into plastic cups. I've never ordered one, but was standing next to a guy at Drai's who ordered a Corona can for $12.

At XS i payed 22 dollar for 2 beers in a can last year.

$9-11 is what i've usually paid for beers. anything with redbull in it i think you get charged an extra $3-4 for the redbull

1st- there are tons of bars in vegas- everything from bars in 5 star casinos to bars with $1 drinks on fremont street
2nd "nightclubs" are going to charge an entry fee for guys to get in. If you don't want to pay cover charges just stick to bars.

Can always go Fremont Street 1 night.

We had a blast at Gold Diggers in the Golden Nugget. Inside played everything non EDM and outside on the patio bar that overlooked Fremont Street they had some local no name dj doing the EDM thing which was good by me because there was maybe 40 of us hanging out there.

Two other places we went to on Fremont was DCR which is a pretty solid lounge. All about deep house when we went. We also did Vanguard which was across the street. Were doing more dub step and stuff over there.

Artisan was a real solid after hours spot you may want to look at also.
