  • Is it rude to ask a host about another club?

Ok, i feel like this is sort of a silly question, but I'm going to ask it anyway. My wife and i have worked a host at the wynn for the past 6 trips (about 2x per year), we usually go to just XS or Tryst so we've used him for all our clubbing needs - he's great and always hooks us up.

This year we're thinking of hitting marquee or hak.. is it rude to ask him if he has any friends at those two clubs? Or should I just go through the normal channels listed on this board. I sort of feel like asking about another club is asking him for a competitors phone number..

In a sense it is but if you have a good enough relationship he will probably want to help you out. The host doesn't particularly gain anything by being a jerk about it but he could lose you as a client in the future if he just tells you to go kick rocks.

Can't hurt but choose your words carefully. Just lay it out that you understand the nature of your request which it sounds you do. Personally have done this so maybe others can attest to how it goes.

Just tell your host you want to hit up whatever club it is you want to go to and have him/her arrange it for you. It's not rude, the good hosts have connections at all clubs anyway. It always has gone fine in the past an there's no reason a host that you have had a relationship with for years would make it odd or uncomfortable for you

Nah, most host would want you to ask. They all network with each other

The guys I deal with (including Noah) have always been more than forthcoming in offering to help hook up all my clubbing needs. However, given I (like many others) have been to Vegas a few times I have host contacts at a few venues so prefer to keep the relationships going. At the same time I would not hesitate to ask for advice as I'm sure I've done in the past. Most hosts know that it's unlikely you're going to do the same thing every trip.
