Just curious as to what Vegas is like on Sunday night after the Super Bowl. Does it thin out quite a bit after the game, or do people stay and go out? Also wondering if any clubs not normally open on Sunday night will open due to there being a lotta people in town that day (i.e. Light, 1OAK, etc.). We are pretty set on Friday and Saturday for that weekend, but are still considering Sunday options and some of the February schedules still haven't been posted. Anyone have experience they can share?

The game will be over by 730PST so it's hard for me to imagine it thinning out at all. What's your plan in terms of itinerary for the weekend and where are you watching?

Here's my game plan and host I used at each respective venue for bottle service

    Fri: Tryst (Bobby Yeadon)
    Sat Day: GBDC (Chad Noyes)
    Sat Night: Light (Noah)
    Sun: Drais (Chris Traer)

Unfortunately on this trip its just my wife and I along with one other couple, and the other couple has not been big into clubs previously so I have not been able to convince them of the value of bottle service. My experience is, people dont actually understand the value until they get there and see what they are missing out on. So for now, we have this:

Friday: Hakkasan for Calvin Harris (Pre-sales)
Saturday: Either Light for Alesso, or XS for Zedd (have a walk-in at XS)
Sunday: Right now leaning toward Drai's unless something else not yet announced pops up, hoping by that time our friends are tired of being crammed onto a dance floor and are ready for BS!

Hak has Calvin & Tiesto Friday/ Saturday
Xs has Kaskade & Zedd Friday/ Saturday

So the party really starts on Friday night

Surrender, Marquee, Tao all have super bowl watch parties

In terms of after the game- realize the game is four hours long and most people will be drinking eating so I would say Friday/ Saturday are the bigger club nights.

Life and Hakkasan which are both normally open on Sunday have not announced lineups yet!

The party continues on Sunday night. The last couple of years 1OAK has been open on Sunday after the game with special guests. My experience is that Sunday night is still pretty busy. The thinning out happens on Monday morning.

Thanks for the replies. We are really trying to decide whether to focus our attention on the afternoon party or the night party. A 4-hour open bar as a pre-party is right up my alley, but not sure my wife has the stamina for both. Guess she could do the 8-10pm nap, but that definitely puts me at risk of rolling solo Sunday night!

Lol - good luck. I'm basically in the same situation and totally understand. I compare the 4-hour open bar during the game then having to go out after with the struggle of raging at a pool party during the day then having to maintain enough stamina to also hit the club that night. It's never easy but there's also no other option!!

Ya, I thought about it that way at first too. I think the open bar throws a new wrinkle into this though. When you're at a pool party, there comes a point where you have to decide whether to throw down on another bottle, or just maintain, knowing the night is ahead of you. When it's a pre-paid open bar, you really have nothing to consider before grabbing another round. Or even grabbing multiple rounds at the 2-minute warning! Guess its all about self-control...

We got two tables at Bank last year after the Superbowl. The place was packed. You couldn't move outside the table. I'm guessing other places are similar. I would recommend getting a table wherever you go.

I am in Phoenix for the superbowl with the Mrs, but then heading to Vegas on the Monday for 6 nights.
Its her 30th birthday on the wednesday. I have contacted a few hosts from here and ones i found on twitter, to no avail.
anybody recommend a club, or if its worth doing bottle/table for her 30th in a club on the wednesday?

my 4th time in vegas, her 2nd!

It's definitely worth it in my opinion. Wednesday nights your two best options are Light and Surrender. Light is inside, while Surrender has a large outdoor area that will be partially enclosed in the winter.

Noah Ortiz could take care of you at both places:

Anthony K is a direct contact from Surrender who the board recommends:
