Noah, rough idea.. What are the minimums for the back wall or tier 3 that night? Thanks for the feedback!

I believe the 700s are split between outside and inside. Based on the map I have, half are inside (stripper pole tables), and half are outside (along the outer wall, basically right below the inside 700s). Same with the 800s. You can see the DJ from some of those outside tables. They're not terrible. Same in terms of seating space though.Originally posted by NoahRamif its the ones im thinking about right between the patio and main room, by the stripper poles and along a window type wall... you dont have a direct line of sight to the DJ and in reality they're 2 seaters at most for comfort. It does get you inside and it is in a large corner where your people can stand and party. however, i prefer a backwall or tier 3 table if you can get it instead.
The 900s might give you a better sight line, overall. And a little more room. They're probably more expensive though.

Actually, after watching this, i understand. one of the coolest things i've seen:

What are prices like for bottles at dayclubs/pool parties? specifically
Marquee, Encore or Wet Republic? Is it worth it, or are you better off saving it for the nightlife?

It's all dependent on the weekend, dj, etc. The advantage on the pools is that it is a food and beverage minimum vs drinks/bottles only at night which are primarily taken up by bottles. You also have the same scenario with a waitress serving you, runner, etc.Originally posted by drozzy View PostActually, after watching this, i understand. one of the coolest things i've seen:

It's having the same advantage at a pool like you would at a club when you get a table.
In some cases it is an advantage. Personally my group likes the clubs vs the pools for service so when we do the pools we just do pre sales since we don't stay the entire day at the pools.Last edited by kp3205; 01-12-2015, 05:10 AM.Happily sponsoring the Las Vegas economy since July 1996

Agreed. The pool parties are awesome. The video you linked gets me so psyched for my trip in a looooong 4.5 months. The pool parties are pretty much just like the night clubs except everyone is in a bathing suit. My group strongly prefers the day life to night life. So we spend more money on the pools than the night clubs. Hell we don't go to Vegas in the non-pool party months. We go for the pool parties.

Funny - i'm the opposite. I prefer having a spot during pool parties, because you can chill, get food and get some protection from the extreme sun. At night you can cruise around the dancefloor etc (although in packed clubs like hakk it's a little different)Originally posted by kp3205 View PostIt's all dependent on the weekend, dj, etc. The advantage on the pools is that it is a food and beverage minimum vs drinks/bottles only at night which are primarily taken up by bottles. So easy. Either be rich or good looking (or mooch off someone who is one of those). If you are neither, then sit back, let the rich and/or good looking people sort their shit out, and then take their scraps. Booking early is not going to get you ahead of the rich and/or good looking people. Sucks unless you are rich or good looking. But that's what makes Vegas so great. It is completely transparent."

Same here! I only go in the summer. Day parties are much better to talk to people and make plans for the night.Agreed. The pool parties are awesome.
