First time EDC nightclub/dayclub advice

Hi guys!

New user here. I'm heading to EDC with my girlfriend and her four friends this June. I know it gets pretty crazy down there around that time of year and was wondering if you guys had any advice on clubs in terms of best clubs in terms of entry, presale tickets, bottle service, etc. What sparked my interest is I'm considering buying presale tickets to Diplo on June 22nd at XS but I'm not sure about presale lines and what not.

Since it'll just me and one other guy supporting the load for the girls I dont think bottle service is an option at some of the premium spots but I'll be there Thursday-Tuesday so some of the off nights could work.

here is last years edc lineups to give you an idea- there are two new nightclubs this year Life @ sls and Omnia

1. If your doing three nights of edc the most you could hit is (depending how long you can last)
Thursday pool depending on arrive, Thursday night club,
Friday pool party,
Saturday pool party,
Sunday pool party,
Monday Pool party, Monday night club

If your not familiar most headline djs start at pools around 3pm and for vegas nightclubs its around 1am.

The girl group might be able to swing free entry through a host but because of the big crowds presale tickets might be a easier choice- don't have to worry about guestlist etc.

Presale tickets is a good way if your just looking for entry, briefly tables usually run in the thousands-depends on bottle prices, minimums, table location, demand, dj, tax/tip then runs 28-40% on top.

A lot more lineups will be coming out for you to compare-ticket prices will rise as it gets closer/ events sell out. Memorial day weekend is a big weekend in May most all of the edc lineups are out by then.

With XS make sure you factor in the extra $20 expidited entry at XS for guys. Think it might be $10 or free for females. (Cash handshake). So for me my $30 presale ticket for Diplo Monday is in reality $50.

Thanks for the advice, do you usually just walk up and before you walk in slap the guy a $20 for guys? Or how does that specifically work? First time hitting the big times clubs so I'm pretty clueless.

nightclubs have a separate line for presale tickets.
What scooner is talking about is XS specifically, XS was one of the clubs that really started presale tickets and was running them with a separate line, then around August last year decided for some slower events to combine presale with general admission. The bouncers were asking for $20 to cut the line.
All that said for large events in the summer it will probably go back to separate line just because of crowd size. Some of there large events attract 10,000+ people so its better to get the large crowds in then keep them waiting.
