I have XS NYE Outdoors GA...but it might SNOW... options?

Hey all,

My buddy and I have already purchase GA for XS outdoors (2 males). Just checked the weather and its going to be 30 degrees with a chance of snow... Haha, but damn! The XS outdoors tickets are sold out, so I am pretty sure we aren't the only crazy ones.

We will be wearing full suits, maybe some Dan Marino Isotoners, but I am just picturing lots of frozen girls in amazing dresses.

1. Will it be worth it to be outdoors at XS with that weather? Im sure there will be heat lamps, and maybe 30 degrees isn't bad with a 1000 people around you. Our goal is more about meeting women than seeing an amazing DJ (although Zedd is fun).

2. Another option (we are staying at Luxor), is for us to go to the old school LAX and buy a GA "all you can drink" for 75$. Bring in the new year there and then head to XS later (2am or so). Noah Ortiz had mentioned that transportation is def not an option, so getting from Luxor to XS may a lost cause. I know there are lots of other GA options, but at this point we aren't interested in $250+ tickets. Although, surrender still can be had for males at 80$ plus fees.

3. On the lax party- I have seen it advertised for $45 and saying the open bar is only for ladies. If your not familiar Hakkasan used to own that venue and recently closed it and turned it back over to luxor- Because its NYE that's why they are making it a nightclub for the night.

4. I have heard Crazy horse 3 which is a strip club close by is doing open bar for $50- but that is a different setup.

5. surrender is another large outside venue so I would probably skip that

6. Its possible with all the crowds crowding inside casinos you might have fun just at a normal hotel bar?

1. I couldn't find the 1am entry for Marquee? Can you provide a link? We may just bring in the new year at Chandalier bar and go into marquee later.

2. Saw a pic of LAX from last years NYE... it was slammed and looked to be 95% dudes. Thanks for the info, prob be good for us to pass on that.

3. Crazy Horse 3 might be an interesting option... It would be easy to have limo pick up at luxor and take backroads there. And it could be interesting to start the night at a strip club and go out later (instead of it usually being the other way around).

4. For Surrender- I have read they have a dome? I think i have seen it before, it doesn't cover the whole pool area, right? It just extends slightly more from the dance floor area?? Its been about two years since I have been there.

it was pretty cold last thursday night at Marquee outside even with the dome. the corners aren't enclosed so that let the cold wind blow through.... of course not nearly as bad as it would be at XS and if Marquee is full of people on NYE as I'd expect, it probably won't feel as bad as the other night.

I would recommend upgrading to all-access, worth it for NYE and Zedd. If your goal is to meet women XS is a great club to do so, but having access to both indoors/outdoors would help your cause.

Yup, the outdoors at XS is closed. I got an email this morning saying I will be refunded, but they offered the option to pay 125 for indoors. My boy and I decided to do Light, (we used the GA link through this site). It was $250 each, but since we are staying at Luxor it makes sense logistically. Plus it helped to see that the "Female Tickets" sold out way before the "Male tickets". Thanks to everyone for the help and feedback! Happy New Year!!
