Realize Life @ sls is part of sbe- which owns hotels and nightclubs- sls south beach, Beverly hills, Raleigh south beach, Redbury
clubs- Hyde in vegas, greystone manor and create in partnership with insomniac in LA
If you have been following life dj pickups I think they are definitely making moves in vegas esp. considering drais comments that its not so much about high paid djs.

I liked LIGHT a lot but their line-ups have been shitty for a long time now outside of big names for big days.

Im sure it will go through. MGM seems to be getting in deep with the Hak group. The majority, if not all, of Light group venues are in MGM properties, so it makes sense. Especially, considering some of the public relations issues Light group has been having.

Just noticed Light looks like they are planning to be open on Thursdays in January. Not sure if this has anything to do with a potential buyout, but certainly makes sense to show increased revenue right before a sale.

On a lighter note, another option for Thursdays, Woohoo!

Looks like it has officially gone through, if I am reading right, I think Light and Daylight are included. It seems to mention Light Group holding onto a few food properties at Mandalay Bay, but that's it.

I think I agree with your assessment Noah. They are drastically decreasing their overlap and redundancy in many areas, including performers, marketing, administration, etc.

I, for one, will be looking forward to more well known dj's playing at light again. It seems that quality had dropped off considerably since it first opened. It will be nice having some of the big trance performers playing their again, ie a&b, dash berlin, kaskade,etc
