which is better Thursday or Sunday?

heyyy Forum members, so i have the option of April 30 (thurs) - May 3 (Sun) or 5/1-5/4 (ends on a Mon). Its a group of 4-5 mid twenties Guys from the Midwest. I usually stay at Cosmo, but deals arent too enticing just yet. Anyways, i never have stayed on a Sunday and typically all the clubs are still going strong but is it typically just locals who partake on Sundays? My group tends to do well with more tourist crowds and was wondering which better suits our group. Also this is Kentucky derby weekend, probably mayweather fight, and cinco de mayo... dont know if that plays a role in your decision.

Personally, in my opinion, Sunday afternoon at EBC is the best party in all of Vegas.

good weekend!
usually always strong dj lineups because of cinco de mayo
mayweather has not been set yet but if its against manny in vegas will be an insane weekend

I'd book what you can now hotel wise. The closer you get (literally within the next few weeks) the much more expensive rates will be. In fact they are probably already through the roof.

I'm looking at hotel rates Feb - June and it seems the first week of April are the cheapest by far.

Sundays will be killer if an event is going and since weather will be nice (no spring really for vegas, just winter/summer) the pools will be hopping. That might even be opening weekend for a few pools since all those events fall around the same time and dependent on weather.

I think Mondays seemed more local... Sundays are pretty epic in Vegas you should try it at least once!!

thanks for the help guys! Clearly I had been missing out on Sundays. I booked Fri-Mon and now i have to decide on nightswim vs club but obviously i will have to see all the lineups and what not... thanks again!

Echoing everyone else here...Sunday! Great clubs open sunday, always have a fantastic time. Good deals to be had on Sundays at the clubs, and if room rates are a concern, Sundays are cheaper than thursdays.

Haha, I'm glad you said that my man cause I'll be there this coming Sunday to Wednesday!! Booya! Still undecided about Sunday night w/ Hak or XS!
