  • Memorial Day Weekend 2015

This coming Memorial Day weekend, my friends and I are coming to Vegas May 22nd-May 26th. This will be my 6th trip to Vegas and i am generally the planner of the group. Normally stay at Aria, but because its a holiday weekend, we decided to book Treasure Island because of the cost $860 all in 2 queen strip view (basically just a place to shower/shave). Normally we all go in August, but decided to go over a holiday weekend to take less time off of work. I looked at some old threads but wanted to hear some current opinions/see if anything has changed. There will be a group of 3 or 4 of us (ranging from ages 22-25). We are aware that prices are at a premium this weekend and thats its an extremely busy weekend.

We get in Friday May 22nd at 11:30 pm, leave Tuesday at 9:30 am. We are planning on doing a pool party each day and night club each night, with the exception of Friday night.

My question is realistically for good tables/locations for a group of 4, what is the realistic spend? 150% of normal? Handshake at each pool/club? No set in stone budget but i would say somewhere along the lines of a total of $4000 per day total for the 4 of us (total including pools and night clubs).

If our budget for example was $4000 all in per day, say $3000 on table all in and $1000 on presale/drinks for non table outing is this do able? Would our tables be way out of the way?

Night clubs were open to is XS, Hakkasan, Light, Omnia, Drais
Dayclubs : EBC, Daylight, Drais, maybe others

Thanks in advance for everyone help & assistance!

    just some general thoughts

    1. If your just looking for place to sleep/shower you can lower that $860 down to $360. Look on kayak.com you can get 2 bed rooms for $180 for 4 nights total including tax/fees x2. Not the same hotel but a room near the strip. Would save you $500.

    2. Headline djs start around 1am with the clubs open until say 4/5am so you could possibly make friday night
figure saturday pool/ nightclub, sunday pool/nightclub monday pool/nighclub so 6 or 7 events

    3. With MDW watch for when lineups start getting announced and compare.
Usually presale tickets will start with early bird prices then get real high I have seen door prices of $150 each.
Presale tickets might be $35x4 early so $140 for 4 then whatever you spend on drinks.
Tables and bottle prices are all over the place depending on location/DJ/club

Thanks for the response. With regards to presales for mdw, would you suggest that or handshake host walk in?

You will start to see lineups/presale tickets probably two-three months out
Door price is always high and might be $150 each. The host price is going to be higher then the door price.

I have seen Hakkasan offer a expedited entry line for 2x the door price.
