  • Tier 1 Bottle Service - Hakkasan, Marquee, XS, Drai's, or LiFe?

Hey everyone - need your expert advice...

I'm in charge of a putting together a bachelor party, with approximately 15 guys attending and an all-in budget of $3,750 (after all taxes, gratuity, host tips, etc).

I've done bottle service over a dozen times in Vegas, so I am familiar with everything that goes with it but my prior experiences have always been booking with a "value" mindset, meaning we didn't need to be at the hottest club if we could score a B1G1 at a place like TRYST, PURE, or BANK.

Since its the bachelor's last go round, we want to up the game and hit up one of the premier spots on Saturday night:

    HAKKASAN
    MARQUEE
    XS
    DRAI'S
LiFE (we are staying at the SLS)

The bachelor prefers to have the table at a club he hasn't been to, so LIGHT is excluded since he's been there.

Understandably, the dollar doesn't go as far with these venues as they are either new or THE premier spots with the best talent and can charge whatever they want. However, I'm wondering what everyone's suggestion would be given the parameters & budget I am working with. I don't want the table to be in a weak spot, as most veterans will agree the table location is the most underrated part of the experience that many overlook or neglect.

    Appreciate everyone's thoughts...

Well you're numbers are going to drastically effect some things.

$3750 all in comes to 2.5k min after tax (3k min pushes you above that pre-tips and LET (so life/hak are out)

Your best bet out of those will be Drais in my opinion. You will get a 2.5k min, tip $300 to host for better location and security/runners for better experience.

That gives you 4 $595 bottles of basic vodka/whiskey/rum and $120 worth of beers (11).

22 shots per bottle = 88 shots/15 guys = 5 or so drinks per guy (if you pregame smart you should be ok giving drinks away).

If you can't squeeze any more money out of your group then that will be the safest option for the best time. The host tip should guarantee you a good location and the 2.5k min will be one up from dance floor.

Since you said you're familiar with bottle service then you know that those 4 bottles will get toasted soon. You will have to show up around 10:30 PM too to grab a table (unless on another night that isn't a premier night).

But if you tip well, show up early and conserve alcohol then you've got a decent recipe for a memorable night!

+1 to this. I would also like to point out that it is gonna be a relatively slower during winter at most places. I would not consider drais or life to be tier 1 spots so look to see if you can get a get1 on top of what you buy at either of those places. Also, most places offer vodkas that start at $495 so you should be able to get 5 bottles to meet your minimum.

What's an extra $100 a person between 15 guys..... I think it's worth it for a great night. Hell even an extra $75 a person and you've got yourself tier 1.

Like Dex said if your going in the winter, you might be able to get decent pricing at all the venues. You need either contact a host at each venue, or Contact Noah and let him do the negotiations.

1st- you should compare the lineups on the Saturday you are thinking of going.

            If you have never been:
            Life is one inside room
            xs is inside and outside
marquee is inside and outside (outside dome in the winter)
drais is inside and outside depending on crowd size
hakkasan is all inside but main room, mezzanine, side room pavilion, different floor ling ling

have to contact host and see what you can get but
Generally you might be looking at 4 bottles goose vs 12 at Tryst-
            if 2 for $450 x6 = $2700 maybe 3450 all in

Is it 28.1% tax in all of these clubs on a Saturday or?

Realistically, I'd tell everyone to budget in an extra $100. That would get you to 5250 and a much better time.

Marquee has a smaller main room and it's cold so 2.5k won't prob get a great table there. Drais you prob will be ok (safest bet prob as it hasn't caught up quite yet to the main T1s), XS is tricky and depends on talent, sometimes 2.5 k works there sometimes it doesn't. With it being cold, it pushes the inside demand higher sometimes.

On these tier 1 clubs, what would be a typical minimum for a prime location (dancefloor) on a Saturday?

it all depends on the weekend and dj. this weekend seems fairly slow and i saw some 3k min quotes for prime spots (dancefloor/upper dancefloor) at XS. typically though i would say 4-5k is average at t1 places for prime spots.

Ah, makes sense. Didn't know you included gratuity in there

                              Thanks everyone for your feedback.

Sounds like Drai's is the safest bet given the budget for this group.

That being said, how is the party & crowd at LIFE on a Saturday night? We're staying at the SLS, and obviously if you can party where you stay that's an added logistical bonus. I know last Sat w/ Agnello was pretty legit, but how is it on a non-headlong Sat?

Oh, and HAPPY THANKSGIVING. Thankful for the Jack Colton forums!
