I'm 40 and single. Help me plan my mid-week trip to Vegas

Hi. I arrive in Vegas this Monday around 6 and leave on Friday, so I'm looking for bar/club/pub recommendations for Mon, Tues, Wed, and Thurs nights.

Jackcolton is a great resource, but I really can't decide because a lot of the recommendations seem to be for the younger crowd.

Here's a bit about me and what I'm looking for. I'm 40, recently single. Would love to find bars / clubs where people my age hang out (roughly 35+). Unless I've had enough to drink, I'm not super into dancing, but I don't mind getting on the dance floor for a song or 2. I'm more of a hang at the bar and chat with strangers type of person. Definitely not looking for anything too quaint, quiet, intimate or small.

I've been to Vegas a number of times and have had a blast at the NYNY piano bar, the pub in TI with mechanical bull, the lounge / bar at the top of the Palm (and a similar one at Mandalay / TheHotel). Have been to Hyde, LAX, Tryst which were all ok (LAX was a little too young for me).

Not necessarily looking to hook up, but single women my age are a plus.

So that's kinda what I'm looking for.

45 here and some ideas.

Carnaval Court is an outdoor venue at Harrahs. Great vibe, wide age range, personally more 30+ women here, and they do live bands and dj's. A Mardi Gras party vibe and casual dress.

Limited on the clubs until Thursday. Monday XS and Marquee, Tuesday I think Hyde is the only one open and Wednesday Surrender and Light. Thursday on everything is open.

Our group ranges from 32 to me and we have had a good time at the Chandelier at Cosmo multiple times and would definitely suggest. 3 Floors and I learned the 3rd floor caters more towards females based on their menu. Wife told me that as she insisted we go to the 3rd floor. 3 of our single guy friends have had luck there every time and they are 35+ in age.

I've heard Nine Fine Irishmen at NYNY is a fun and has a live band on certain nights. May want to look on their website as I have never been there.

Circle Bar at Hard Rock was fun but we were there on a Friday so not sure about the weekdays.

1OAK in the Mirage is open Tuesdays but its definitely a younger seen. Often very crowded and hard to even maneuver around in, but it is an option.

All of the clubs lean a little younger, but it sounds like you're looking for more of a lounge scene. Hyde has live music on Thursdays. Sayers club and Foxtail at SLS seem to be more what you're looking for. If 35 plus is the age range you want the most of the lounges are your best bet.

If you go on Freemont, try The Laundry Room. But you have to reserve in advance since it is a secret bar (speakeasy style). We had a good Time there.
