  • Rolling Solo: Opinions on the best and worst clubs without a table?

I will be in Vegas for work from Monday November 3rd through Sunday the 9th. While I won't be able to rage like a normal trip due to work constraints, I'd like to have some fun and hang out a few nights. Since I'll likely be rolling solo and won't have a table (unless I can split one with others), I'm curious as to everyone's opinion as to the best and worst clubs to be in without a table.

It's tough to compare being crushed on the floor in Hakk with being caught in the ring of death at Marquee. I've experienced both, and neither was fun.

I'd be curious to hear other opinions on this question. What are the best and worst places to go without a table and/or rolling solo?

My opinion... the best is XS by far... With the outdoor area, its easy to get around.

I wouldnt think Marquee would be that bad if outdoors was open...

Hakk is huge... so if you're solo posting up by the side bar could be an option...

Stay away from Hyde without a table too... it gets Jammed with sausage.

My opinion.. if you can try and split a table... makes this alot easier.

during the week you have to base your choice based on whats open
            Monday- Diplo xs
Tuesday- Hakkasan is open this Tuesday
            Wens- Light
            Thursday- Hakkasan
            Friday- choice
            Saturday- choice

For Monday-Thursday- be sure to use vip free / free club passes you should be able to swing free entry every night

Marquee sucks - gets so crowded inside that you can't even move. You could hang around outside, but it's away from the action.

I was at LiFE over the weekend and it was very easy to move around in there. Hakkasan also should be pretty good rolling solo.

I like light and XS when doing GA. Light has railings both downstairs and upstairs where you can set your drinks and get a good view of the club. XS of course because of the outside area. Drais is also a pretty big venue that you should consider.

Tipped the bouncer $20 for access to the table area next to the dance floor for the whole night. Much better. Didn't like the club as a whole though. Only went bc it was the only club open on a tuesday.

If you would like to come and check out the new Drai's rooftop Nightclub, I would be more than happy to accomodate you. If its only you, I can meet you at the door and walk you in. Shoot me a message.

Sorry to hijack the thread, but I had a question about rolling solo without bottle service too. I'll be in town 10/25-10/28. I contacted vip free with my dates and info. What is a fair tip for the VIP host if I'm not getting bottle service? Thanks!

some background to help you understand
Friday/Saturday night every nightclub is open-very few specials etc
Sunday-Thursday certain nightclubs are open and there are more specials, guest lists etc.

In comparing the clubs you will sometimes hear tier 1, tier 2, tier 3 which is someones opinion ranking the clubs on how new, popular, dj bookings, upscale, etc

If your not familiar the dj bookings in vegas are very competitive between clubs.
There are some well know djs/ producers that are getting paid $125,000-200,000+ per night. These big dj bookings lead to big prices/crowds.

Its also worth looking at nightclubs event lineups and see what presale ticket prices are to give you an idea.

Hopefully you understand now its unlikely your going to get free entry as guy to a big name dj event on a Saturday night. If its a $100 presale ticket.

If its Monday and a $30 presale you might end up getting in free.

So what should you tip: depends on the club, event, presale price and on what they do for you.

I agree, it's not a great club. The only reason I've gone is because I've stayed at the Mirage and so I've gotten in free.
