  • Line up for Sept 18-21 Thinking Drai's / Hyde / Hak. Thoughts? Hosts Recommendations?

Title pretty mush says it all. 8 - 10 guys mid 30's heading out. Were not newbies but we haven't been out since Spring 2013 so I feel like we might as well be. Hers's are line up (not really tied to anything, except maybe Hyde):

Thurs 18th Drai's: Asked around it it seems like Drai's is pretty good spot for Thursdays. Have been to Tryst, Tao, and 1Oak on Thursday. Looking to try something else. I know Drai's is newer. How's Thursday been? Is there a better option? Would like open format but not a deal breaker.

Friday 19th Hyde: Last time out went to Hyde on Saturday and we had one of the best club experiences we've ever had in Vegas. Seems like Friday night might be a better night to go and also love there open format. Thoughts Friday vs Saturday?

Saturday the 20th Hakkasan: Looks amazing. Honestly not a huge fan of EDM but we want to hit top tier 1 the last night we're out there. We are staying at the Cosmo so one question I'm getting from the group is should we do Marquee over Hak? Having said that is Hak the top tier 1 club out there now? Should we be looking else where? What are people hearing about about Life at SLS? Do any of the tier 1's play open format?

All suggestions are welcome. We are also looking for recommended hosts for theses clubs or any other clubs you guys suggest. Thanks a lot. 8 years over a dozen trips out to Vegas and JC hasn't let us down yet!!

1st- Its iheartradio weekend- which is a music festival at mgm grand friday/ saturday night- they are also doing a iheartradio village saturday during the day http://festival.iheart.com/village

On Thursday Drais you should get bottle specials 2 for 600-$300 each vodka choice. They don't have an event listed so they might be trying to book a iheartradio performer.

Friday- avicii @ xs or tiesto @ hak or are going to be that crazy packed club

Saturday- Calvin Harris at Hakkasan is going to be crazy- crazy as in crazy- also very high for tables if your talking main room and don't forget 40% tax/tip on top.
David Guetta is at xs that night also will probably be crazy-crazy- XS will be at least 10% less just because of the different taxes each club charges.

Also not sure if your planning to hit a pool party saturday or something else.

I'd personally look at EBC @ Night as an option for Thursday. Tujamo is DJing and they likely will have guest listing by Vip For Free, but if bottles are more your style they have a B1G1 offer for 2 Stoli's for $600 usually. A night time pool party is never a bad call in Vegas.

Oh and Drai's has Craig Anthony that Thursday according to their website.

Will be out the same time, cheers.

Thinking of XS on Saturday night for no particular reason other than a couple of us have been and enjoy the indoor/outdoor layout. Good vibes there. Definitely interested in hitting up Drai's also, maybe Friday night, but not going with a group super into clubs so may have to branch off solo and try my luck at the door.

You have 2 guys and 2 girls which is perfect for guest listing since most require the same number of girls and guys at the minimum. While not the Vip experience of bottle service, if you pick the right club even people who aren't into clubs can have a great time. Encore Beach Club at Night on Thursday might have guest listing provided by Vip for Free, http://www.vipforfreelv.com/Reserve.html, being at a nighttime pool party at a club can be a fun option especially for people not into the traditional club scene. If you are there Sunday September 21st, XS Nightswim is also an even more amazing time.

If the pool party at night thing isn't convincing them I'd look at guest listing at Marquee on Friday, that usually is available through various promoters. The worst case with Marquee is they don't care for it and then you grab some Secret Pizza and sit around outside in the lounge area and people watch or head to The Chandelier bar for some nice ambiance and usually some live music.

Otherwise if you really can't get them interested in some free entertainment with guest listing, I'd try for pool parties, lots of options, and some of them with less expensive daybeds that might not have the sticker shock of bottle service even.

If you are dead set on bottle service, EBC at Night, Tryst, and Drai's usually have a B1G1 offer around $600 on Thursdays, but remember $600 is really $600 + 20% Tip + 10% Live Entertainment Tax + 8.1% Tax so at a minimum $825 and that's without tipping your host for better table placement. Most people on this forum seem to think $1000 is about the minimum that you can get away with even with a B1G1 deal, so that's $250 per person, $500 per couple. That kind of money can be put to good use elsewhere in Vegas especially if it isn't something your group is totally on board with.
