  • When foot traffic isn't an issue

Going out to Vegas in a little over a month with a group of 6 couples. We all like to have a good time and are planning to hit Hak, XS, and Light on our trip. My question is, since foot traffic isn't going to be a major concern for us, are there areas in these clubs you would recommend getting a table when you aren't too concerned about pulling girls to your table. We would like to still have a decent view of the DJ, just don't really care too much about location outside of that. I have heard good things about the Mezzanine at Light, any other thoughts? Thanks in advance.

I've only been to Light so I will give my thoughts on this. The Mezzanine level can be great, as can a T1 level table (it goes Dancefloor, T1, T2). The T2 tables get a ton of traffic as there are tables on both sides of the walkway. If possible get a T1 table on the side versus the middle to help avoid traffic as well. You will still have a great view of everything at Light. Also ask for Malissa to be your waitress there and you won't go wrong at all.

Thanks. I don't want to give the impression we are trying to hide out and don't want people near our table. We are fine with people being around us, it just seems that the high traffic areas tend to affect table minimums and command a premium. For us, we don't need to have a prime spot for pulling ladies into our table. I would rather have a lower minimum and tip the host more as opposed to having to meet a higher minimum. Mez at Light is likely to be our spot there, haven't heard as much about alternate locations at Hak or XS.

for hakk and light i'd probably go with mezz tables that will work out best ... XS im not too sure about, but there are outside tables that are budget friendly

For XS, check out the "Island couches." They're behind the island bar directly facing the DJ booth. I think they are one of the most underrated spots if you aren't concerned with foot traffic.

It's more of a private area with almost zero foot traffic. They're right on the edge of the pool and have security standing by the entrances. Granted it's from behind, you have a perfect centralized view of the DJ. Had this spot on a Sat night for Guetta with about a 2.5k min I want to say.

Great suggestion, will likely inquire about this area. We are looking to try to catch Avicii on a Friday, I imagine the mins will be similar. Thanks!

Which one of these are you referring to on this map? The daybeds 1-13, that neck of the woods?

At Light, each levels entire table area is blocked by security. GA can't get in the table areas so any place location there is fine. Only issue is bigger groups getting sat next to you, just like any club, but you won't have to deal with randoms around your table at all anywhere at Light really.

Mez at Light is a pretty great spot IMO - tons of room to dance, and really great view of the space.

XS the 400s are pretty solid as long as you get one facing the DJ.

This X2. Had an amazing time at a mez table at light. We were in the same boat as you guys ... foot traffic was not an issue and you have an awesome view of the whole club up there. highly recommend it
