Monday nightclubs?

How are monday nights? Me and my buddy will be there Sept 12-18 and see Diplo is at XS and it looks like Marquee has something going on. Will these parties be happening? I prefer EDM.

Second question. We are flying in late Friday night. Won't be able to get to any club until about midnight, maybe a little later. How easy would it be for 2 guys to get into a club at this time? Should we bother with pre tickets?

Any suggestions would be nice. We are just trying to get some partying in as we won't be able to go out Saturday night. Might be able to make the Sunday nightswim.

I'm actually in Vegas Sept. 14-23 with my girlfriend so I've looked at what's happening that weekend.

Before I had been to Vegas I assumed Monday nights would be dead in Vegas since who parties on a Monday in a "normal" town, but both XS and Marquee are usually packed on Mondays. I actually make it a point to always stay Sunday and Monday during a trip since those are usually the cheaper days while still being packed and fun.

I've almost always done even-ratio guest listing and the lines can be hundreds long right at opening around 10pm. Pre-sale would pretty much be a must for either club if you would be getting there that late and not doing bottle service, especially since the pre-sale is almost always faster and cheaper than the GA. You could look into a host walk-in but that usually costs around $20+ per person plus the GA price so that can get pretty expensive for just entrance.

With Diplo at XS and Vice at Marquee on Sept. 15 I'd go with Diplo at XS. I've seen Vice and he's a fine DJ, but Diplo is a much bigger name and likely to bring the best, biggest crowd.

Sunday Nightswim is usually considered one of the most fun things during an entire trip with the various groups I've gone with, so if you guys can make it to that I would highly suggest doing it. With David Guetta doing Nightswim that Sunday I wouldn't miss that if I had any way not to.

Regarding friday I think you will be ok with presale tickets to xs even that late
Remember the headliner is usually on around 1am so you will not miss anything.

Sick of Vice. I think he's dj'd every maxim hot 100 party ive been to here in LA as well as a couple super bowl events. Diplo def brings the party and the ladies. You won't be disappointed!

Vice or Jermaine Dupri? I'd like to rep my ATL DJs but curious how his show goes down on a Monday at XS. I know Marquee Monday is stout and I assume that with even ratio I can guest list at each place since I have solid host contacts.

How late can I get in on Friday with a advanced ticket? Don't they usually say valid to a certain time like 11 or 12?

Your ticket is valid all night
For Hakkasan they guaranteed entry until 12am but you could very well be fine later depending on crowd size
For XS you will probably be fine later because the club is so huge
