Lol. When I booked bottle service last time, I started contacting the host about a month before the trip. I know some people who do it day of, but that's too risky with table locations and all. I would say anywhere between 2 weeks to a month is good

Yea, I figure us international travellers always do it crazy early (I think I started three months out last time )
I would be a leave it to the last week kinda guy if I lived in the US (am with most things I do here), but we kinda have to do it right when you fly across the Pacific, we've been planning our trip as long as Chappy!
Previous trip: June 30 - July 7, 2011. Stayed at the Palazzo & PH Towers.
      Returning: Oct 31 - Nov 2, 2014.

What are bottle service prices like at the Tier 2 clubs?

I usually reach out about a week in advance. Note that I'm in the US, not international.

A week or two out is plenty. Location is determined by spend, tip, time of arrival and demand. Some of the hosts might be able to lock you into a specific location but I imagine that is usually done within the last few days before the event.

I usually only book my trips a month out anyway so I usually text inquires about two weeks out. Then process the info and confirm a week/few days in advance. On my last trip I was rocking guest list and hosted entry day of with much success.

I get wanting to have it all set in advance, but there is so much that goes into location that you will have to wait a little longer than comfortable. Trust me - it took a while for me to get comfortable with that idea.

Your trip will rock - you have made a very smart first step by stopping by these forums.

When contacting hosts am I better to say upfront "we can spend X amount maximum per head what can you do?" or saying "could you do X amount minimum with X amount handshake?"

I would go with a combination of both. Give them your budget and what you plan to tip and see what they can do.

Sometimes it's best to contact them via e-mail or text.

massive thanks to everyone who has provided a comment so far - think we are probably safe to leave it till a month out - or at least wait until wet / edc release dates for the weekend.

will no doubt have 1000 more questions about iten as we get closer - feel free to keep thread going or post ur own slant on the original question.

So we have started putting the feelers out as line ups are announced.

Stoked that it looks like we are going to catch the final weekend of pool parties with calvin at Wet. Making enquiries for a cabana at Wet - Cisterna if your still interested let me know - thats likely to be a 5k min with taxes on top - so possibly $600 a head - but hey its Vegas right! let me know if you want to be kept in the loop.

Saturday night probably going to try a tier 2 and a low min to see how many make it out alive.

Sunday are unsure - keen on EBC, Nightswim and drais but dont really know what to commit to at this point - will probably wait for line ups and go from there.
