Bond is a bar/lounge with music that is open to the casino floor. They do have bottle service and the bars at Cosmo do get busy. For a relatively chill night it's a great spot but I wouldn't call it a club replacement.

Spent some time there at last time I was in Vegas, definitely not a place to replace the club, but if your all tired out from the crowds of clubs and still want to be around a good time and good crowd check it out for sure. As mentioned can do bottle service as well and it being in the Cosmo always going to have a good time.

I view Bond as a great place to grab a drink before going to a club (Whether it be a nightclub or gent's club). It's also a good place to stop if you have an open night where you're just walking around drinking/gambling. If that's the case make sure you stop by one of the levels of the chandelier bar too.
Yep bond is nothing even close to a club. More of a small bar with some tables in it, that is open to the casino floor. If you're going for the "bottle service experience", this is not it. If you're just looking for a place to sit and have a few drinks with your buddies... this is a good spot.
I greatly prefer Vesper though as it's wide open, great view of the video pillars, the couches are quite comfortable, and I find the bartenders there to be top notch. Not to mention you're in the middle of a busy area so if there's not any good "scenery" in the immediate bar vicinity, there's plenty passing by for you to flag down and invite to join you.

I second msavard- I would rank it as a cool lounge to grab a drink or two and people watch for an hour, and then do the same at Chandelier bar and Vesper. I like to go there around 9pm and socialize a bit before I head to whichever club I am going to that night. A place with a similar vibe is Centrifuge (its the circle bar in front of Hakkasan). Good place to have a drink and mingle a bit before going to your main destination that night.
Its the Weekend Spunik...I do not know you..You do not exist
Thanks for the info guys, again, maybe "replacement" wasn't the right word to use, just looking for a place to go to grab some drinks and enjoy Vegas without going to a club. Last year my group got "sticker shock" at the B/S prices, then decided to go GA at Haze ( we were staying at Aria),because one of our group "met a guy" on the strip and gave us wristbands for Haze....said it was free cover and drinks all night for the ladies...yeah right, you know how that worked out stood in line for an hour, paid our entry fee, then stood shoulder to shoulder with the masses, paid a lot of money for drinks, were told to keep moving by the staff, "cant stand here" all night, al the while I told them we should've got a table and B/S and spent the same amount of money AND had a table all night.
Then another guy makes some phone calls and said he got the "hook up" from his bosses friend for Chateau with B/S and 2 free bottles.....yeah we got right in and up under the Eiffel Tower, then they wanted our CC and we said what our "deal" was , they couldn't find the person who accepted that and couldn't get him on his cell, and then after an hour said the deal was contingent that we book a suite at Ceasers for the night..????...so again, we left, so the whole club scene and B/S thing has left them sour on the whole idea. I told them we need a legit deal in place, but they aren't feeling it.
So the same group is going back this year and I'm trying to avoid all that and find a place they can enjoy, because I still cant convince them B/S is the way to go, if we're going to do it, lets do it right and make some memories ,right?
Any other suggestions? I don't want to end up at a sports bar or something like that, otherwise we could've just stayed home.
Any bar at the Cosmo is money, as far as Vegas bars go. Like Wade said, do all three! Reading the above paragraph of your crews past club experiences, the Tryst Grey Goose special will blow them away and make them believers
Start small. Tryst Thursday deals or a cabana at Tao Beach on a Thursday is an easy and relatively cheap way to show them how to do things. Hell, just have them come here and check things out.

Late Summer July-August
lastpocket,
You want to know what your answer is... get them onboard with B/S. i don't know about you, but my friends and I dont have too many opportunties where we can all get together in Vegas for a weekend. So when we do.. we gotta do it big for AT LEAST 1 night. If they don't want to spend money in Las Vegas, then they probably wont have any fun. I realized this maybe about 5 or 6years ago when I found myself at O'Shea's (before it got demolished) on a Saturday night in Vegas because nobody wanted to pay for B/S. My recommendation is find a Tier 2 club that might not break the bank so much for B/S, and throw it on a credit card. Then have your friends pay you(or that person with the cc) cash. If you want to have fun, someone's gotta do it.

Another option would be to guest list at a tier 1 or 2 club with a reputable promoter. This really only works if you have an even or better ratio of girls/guys, but if you are slightly short I've found that it isn't hard to find a girl who wants to get into a top tier club for free and maybe even get some free drinks too. People on this forum are very much into bottle service, but a good time in Vegas can be had at clubs, especially when you don't pay a dime to get in.
Never trust a promoter on the strip, they are usually the lowest level employees at best and totally unrelated to the club at worst. Usually a promoter can be found for most clubs just by searching the club name + promoter and check for positive reviews. Vip For Free has a good rep on this forum and I can attest to them being true to their word. I also love to recommend Chris Hornak at Free Vegas Club Passes Ive used his guest listing ~30 nights and it's only failed me a couple of times, once when we cut it close on recommended arrival time when a big name DJ was schedule and didn't have a phone to call him with, and once he actually sent me $20 on Paypal to make up for it!
30 minute to an hour and a half open bars really do happen in clubs in Vegas quite often, but all night ones for free are quite rare. More often you'll get maybe 1-2 drink tickets per girl and not have anyone in your group pay a cover charge. I really thought the whole concept sounded too good to be true but the key is to make sure you are using someone reliable.
Here's a sample week of what you could get with an even or better ratio using Vip for Free and Free Vegas Club Passes:
Sunday: XS, no cover, 1 free drink per girl
Monday: XS, no cover, 1 free drink per girl
Tuesday: 1 Oak, no cover
Wednesday: Light, no cover, 1 hour open bar per girl
Thursday: Hakkasan, no cover and fast entry!
Friday: Marquee, no cover
Saturday: Tao, no cover, 1 hour open bar per girl
I've personally done all of those but 1 Oak and have gotten sometimes more drink tickets and longer open bars than that. Again this is all void during LDW, MDW, NYE and so on and so forth, but if there isn't some crazy big name at a club and it isn't a holiday you should be able to do what's listed without incident. You won't be upsold, you won't have to pay some surprise free, just actually free entrance and free drinks.
If they really can't be convinced that Vegas clubs can be a fun time and not filled with people ripping you off, then I'll second the Chandelier, but I'd try to convince them to try guest listing, there's no risk and it almost always works like expected when you are dealing with someone reputable.
