DeadMau5 at Xs 8/2/14

So my long (almost a year) awaited return to vegas is in less than a month and im starting to set up the itinerary for the trip. Big group of 11 guys so I understand Mins will be high, A bunch of the guys wan to hit Xs and I see that DeadMau5 is playing on 8/1/14, im not a huge fan of him as a DJ (never been impressed by him at a festival), but I know he is hugely popular.

My question is: does he bring in a good crowd? Are his sets conducive to getting the party going, or are they more like his festival sets that are super technical? Anyone seen him at Xs/Hakk?

Additionally any thoughts on what mins will be for a friday? I'm planning to hit up Bobby Y in a couple weeks.

I was looking at XS for Aug 2nd but because the Mins will probably be so high @ Xs I said forget it with my group of 3. If you are looking for some extra people to lower the mins...let me know....

Saw him at XS this past Sat 06/28. Place was slammed. Good crowd. I felt he did an awesome job.

Looks like we are going to head to Xs for DeadMau5, spoke with Bobby Y. about setting it up and he is giving us the options that fit in our budget as:

Back Wall Table

or

"First Couch on the on the tip of the Pool" (DB1 or 27)

Anyone have any experience with either of these spots? Better location?

-- Bobby recommend the pool area but just wanted to make sure it wasn't too far away form the action/DJ/etc?

I had DB1 last year when we went out for LDW to see Steve Angello... it was a great spot IMO... We saw the DJ from where we were at and it's not overly crowded like inside. There were some ropes around your area to avoid people walking too close to your table. I'm actually out there that weekend as well.. just haven't decided if we're going to do attend any night clubs.
