  • How important is the "show" aspect?

So I'm now recovered from my trip last weekend and we opened and closed Light. Seriously. We were there at 10pm and left at 4am. And the show aspect this time blew me away. The first time I didn't pay much attention to it, but this time I did. Then I talk to other friends and they say things like "such and such DJ always puts on a good show", but really, how much show do they put on at a club?

Which begs this question, how important is the show aspect of a nightclub? Are you more inclined to go to a place if there is something visual going on as well?

I love the visuals as well... was pumped when one of the local clubs here in Boston (PRIME) installed a LED wall after having nothing but like one strobe light... and yes LIGHT will make you love the visuals if you never really payed attention before.

for me personally, it doesn't matter a whole lot. The crowd and music are much more important to me.

Exceptions: gogo dancers and shit falling from the ceiling - i fkin love confetti.
