  • URGENT: Bottle service via independent host or club host?

Hey guys, this will be my first time going to vegas. The 5 of us (all guys) are planning on getting bottle service at XS this Sat. I've spent hours doing research online trying to figure out if we should go through a club host like Eric Chine or an independent host like zexzoo.com? We r planning on spending $500 per person, so $2500 in total. Should we use zexzoo/red carpet vip or just go directly to Eric Chine?

    Thanks in advance!

Go through Bobby Yeadon -> 708-714-0280

    3 Bottles -> $500 handshake -> $40 to security -> $20 to busser

    ($595x3) x1.28% = $2273 + $500 +60 = $2833 for the entire night. All in. Pretty straight forward.

^ That is your best case scenario. Show up at 10 pm and follow the above and you will get the best you can get for that night and your #'s.

I'm probably being stupid, what does $500 handshake mean? $40 to security is for the security guy at the table or at the door? What's a busser? Sorry for being so noobie

Haha no problem man. I was asking the same stuff almost a year ago.

The handshake is a "tip" to the "host" that helps set up your table. It's not mandatory but it GREATLY increases your chances of securing your minimum and a good location. If you have unlimited firepower ($) then you can do whatever you want but for 99% of us we go through middlemen to help secure our fun times.

At XS it is "generally the rule of thumb" to tip the guy setting everything up (in this case Bobby) $500 at a minimum on a saturday (i dont know if this applies to sundays). You hand it to him when you meet him prior to entering the club. He will take the money, go to the podium and get your table number and then walk you in. If he goes there without the $500+ he will tell the podium guy that and your table will be outside. You are going to want an inside table.

The $40 for security is to introduce your table/group to the security guard that will be monitoring your section. You tip him in good faith to show you appreciate his attention to your needs and that he will help you if you need anything. He can bring girls over, walk girls to the bathroom, kick people out of your area etc.

The $20 for the busser is another good faith tip to show you appreciate his "quick" service of refilling ice/cups and cleaning.

Your minimum will be $1500 to get 3 bottles. But bottles cost $595 at the lowest so you end up paying $1785 for 3 bottles. You then multiply that by 28.1% for tax and gratuity.

It is good karma/protocol/rules following/etiquette to handshake the given amount and tip both busser and security. If you're spending all that money you want to go the extra miles to make sure your time goes well. Seconds are more valuable in vegas than they are anywhere else (for the most part lol)

Thanks so much Kinar100! That was super informative. So will the $500 get us to skip the bottle service line? I read somewhere that even the bottle service line can be insanely long on weekends.

Oh for sure. You're on a whole new tier of service.

The club will be empty at 10:00 pm but it will fill up within 15-20 minutes and by 11:30 will 75% and by 12:30 close to capacity.

If you show up at 10:00pm (or so) it will take you maybe 5 minutes to get in to the club. You will initial a piece of paper saying you agree to pay this amount and they will check your ID's. You will be ushered through a different hallway (inside the entrance) and wait for a minute until they get your spot figured out.

And the line is only long if you don't use a host. When you go through someone that matters (especially someone from this site) then you get preferential treatment. Even if you're in the line and there are people in front of you, your host could pull you up to the front and probably will if you've been in contact and following the rules.

Sounds awesome! That's exactly what we want. In terms of host, what about Eric Chine? He's listed on this site's preferred host for XS.

It really blows my mind that you guys are still pimping/paying this $500 "tip" as well as possibly scaring these n00bs!

                  1. Eric Chine is a reputable and well know host. If you have a prior relationship with him somehow by all means use his. Most everyone on here will recommend you use a direct host instead of going through a third party. People on here like to use Booby as well.

                  2. Kinar is right in that with your budget, it'll likely be 3 bottles or $1500/$1800 minimum spend.

                  3. You do NOT have to "tip" $500 as tipping a host or anybody is really up to your discretion. I put tip in quotation marks because I feel it's not really a tip and more like extortion. If I offered to tip them $500 than fine but when you're asking for it, fuck you. That being said, $500 is often what it will take to get you an inside table at XS on a busy weekend. However, with a $1500 spend you won't be getting anything much worth the $500 "tip". It will be a small bench facing away from DJ/DanceFloor/Action. IMO not even worth it.

                  4. The best way to initiate contact with a host is usually shooting a text saying, "Hey, I have x many guys and budget of $x,xxx all-in. What would that get me?" They'll reply with a min spend and location. If you're ok with it lock it in. If not, "What would an additional $xxx as a tip get me in location." You got it from there.

                  5. IMO, for the amount of guys and the budget you have I'd recommend the Patio Tables just outside. Plenty of traffic and still easily see the DJ. It'll probably run you guys $1800 min + 150-300 tip. Just within your budget. You do NOT have to be inside to have fun at XS.

                  6. Yes, usually if you've had contact with either Eric or Bobby they'll pull you out of the line if not with another client and save you from the table line.

                  Hope that helps.

Ok. I don't know whom to listen to as I've never done this before. So ENCO12E, what you are saying is with our 2k budget, it's not even worth spending the $500 on the host?

Personally, I wouldn't. It'll more than like seat you on a shared, long couch facing away from DJ. If that's worth a $500 premium to you than by all means...

I'd ask about Patio tables 900-970 for your budget.

Use this 360 tour from their website to help you decide:

                      http://www.xslasvegas.com/360tour/

For likely inside table choose "Main room bar" from drop down menu and flip the camera towards dance floor. That long couch with a bunch of tables will most likely be your spot.

For a view of the patio table choose "8" and turn the camera around 180. that half circular couch could most likely be had for $1800 min + $150-300 shake.

Might as well contact Eric or Bobby tonight like how I recommended:

100% what ENC012E said and all the stuff about inside/outside and tips is correct. Patio table is a good spot and does not requir $500 tip. Contact one of the hosts
