UK couple booked LDW by mistake....how to have best club experience?

Hi! Really could do with some advice!

My partner & I have booked to go for a 3 night vegas break over the LDW. Being from England (and stupidly not checking first) I didn't realise it was a holiday weekend for you guys, durrrr. On the plus side, looks like its going to be one hell of a party!

I have only ever been clubbing in the Uk & Ibiza - so not really all that familiar with paying mega bucks for table service & have no clue how these nightclub hosts work....

We would really like to have one big night at one of the major clubs (prob the sat), and to see a big DJ - but with there only being 2 of us can't really justify the expense of table service (I assume tables are for for 4+ people, right?)

From reading through some of the forum threads I gather that the queues for the clubs get MASSIVE, and I really don't want to spend precious time waiting in a queue :-(

So, what do we do? Get pre-sale tickets & just suck it up & get there early? Sort something out with one of these hosts to walk us in but not have a table (will they even do that? I'm pretty clueless!) Any other ideas?

I really appreciate any input, coming from a small town in the UK I really am keen to experience a vegas nightclub.

I think you should be happy your going at a big time

For just two presale tickets is a good way- you might also be able to split a table with someone on these forums.

FYI:
nightclubs open around 11pm with headline dj at 1pm going till like 4-5am
pool parties open around 11am with headline dj at 3pm going till liek 6pm

You can do the host thing but as it gets later in the night odds are it will be tough to pull off.

Pre sale is the best way to go IMO. Highly recommend going to Light. Unbelievable. Wish I would be there during that time as Carl Cox will be there and he is making a very limited # of appearances so he will definitely be on his A game but you won't lose with any in that line up. May want to look at the VIP for Free thread. A lot of happy people after using it. May be an option also.

You'll have a great time no matter what you choose because it's Vegas and the peeps have an extra day to party!!

Presale is your best option although I would definitely recommend dayclubs over nightclubs for a couple without a table.

I'm also from UK and my missus wasn't atall impressed with having to stand in a busy nightclub in heels. At least with pool parties you can get in the pool or sit on the edge.

We saw Calvin Harris and Guetta at dayclubs last LDW and neither were crazy busy. Seeing the queues around the Wynn suggested the nightclubs were rammed!
