GA at Hak?

So we are doing GA at Hak for our upcoming trip on a Thursday night. I know some places don't have a good GA area and basically have you walking in an endless loop as there is "no standing". Will we have any issue at Hak doing GA and having places to at least stand? That's all we care about is making sure we aren't being told to move for the sake of moving.

You're out of luck Hak is one of the worst clubs for GA. Only saving grace might be that it's Thursday and it won't be as busy as a weekend day.

Don't misinterpret others when they say GA sucks...thats only when you compare it with table service....I've never ever experienced this "please keep it moving" issue, not at XS, not at Marquee, not at Hakk and not at Light.

GA may suck if you show up near midnight and have to wait in line, or it may suck if you wait to pay cover at the door and its a hot DJ that night and they hike cover prices...but pre-sale avoids that drama...Hakk is huge, multiple levels, hip hop room, great place...its all perspective and how you like to party...

Kman90 has valid point. I have only had table service at Hak so my experience of GA is only from the 3rd party, but I know this I wouldn't experience GA at Hak if they paid me, but I can be known to be high maintenance.

Agreed, Hak can be okay for GA but when it gets crowded (a hot DJ) it gets REALLY crowded, like can barely move crowded so keep that in mind. BUT, by the same token just means more people to meet/dance with too.

you will be ok if your on the dance floor -Hak is a HUGE club

looks like your doing just entry- realize there are three options for just entry
1. presales
2. guestlist free before 12am
3. general admission- paying night of- which is the worst option

Thanks for the advice. Yeah we are guestlisted I think from VIP4Free for our trip. The rest of the trip we are table service, but due to a LONG day on Friday we wanted to kind of relax a bit on Thursday and not go too hard and thus came to the conclusion to just do GA at HAK through VIP4Free. I remember going to Hyde (briefly) and getting caught in this circular "keep moving" pattern that sucked.

Hakkasan's GA is fine, not as well organized as XS but better than most as it doesn't have much competing traffic or the third reich at the door.

The clubs sucks without bottle service though, I've never felt so old in my life - constantly praying the fire ******** would come in and save all of us from this over-stuffed death trap.
